Hello. I'm doubting that my meal plan is syn free, but I'm trying to not get so bogged down with counting stuff.

    B - Coffee

L - WW Microwave Meal - Chicken Tikka Masala
    Oykos Yogurt
    Hula Hoop Puffs

D - was thinking an omelette with cheese, salami and tomato and then have some more salad on the side.

    S - 2 x Tea
    Alpen Bar

No alcohol and no random incessant snacking which are my downfalls!
Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

Hello. I'm doubting that my meal plan is syn free, but I'm trying to not get so bogged down with counting stuff.

    B - Coffee

L - WW Microwave Meal - Chicken Tikka Masala 8 with rice included in pack
Oykos Yogurt 7 depending on flavour
    Hula Hoop Puffs 3.5

D - was thinking an omelette with cheese could be HEA or 6 syns+, salami 13 for 100g and tomato and then have some more salad on the side.

    S - 2 x Tea
    Alpen Bar

No alcohol and no random incessant snacking which are my downfalls!

It's a start Pollyanna but you probably are using all your syns (and quite a few more) today. Don't worry because you will be able to make swaps/tweaks when you get going properly that would give you a very similar day. SW own curry from Iceland is free or you could make your own or have a lower syn ready meal. Aldi Lamb Rogan josh is 1.5. I have plain FF Greek yogurt from Aldi and that's free as are many others. Mullers are 1 syn. Pufts are a low syn snack if you like crisps. Salami is very high syn but lean ham or bacon is syn free. We should be OK to have cheese and milk in tea with the new extra HEA. Hope this helps.:)

This is my first day properly back on plan after almost a month of going over syns regularly. WI tomorrow then I'll be starting from 105 but at the moment the bank is heavily overdrawn!:rotfl:

    Today's EE plan:
B: NAS grapefruit, 2 boiled eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk for drinks
L: ham, bubble & squeak, pickles
    D: SW Bolognese with tagliatelle
    Syns: Parmesan

The Parmesan should be OK as a second HEA under the 'new' plan but not sure I'm ready to trust that yet. Maybe when I get back into target range, which might take a while.:(

Same here - I've enjoyed my extra cheese today but I can't see how suddenly we can have double HEA and it not affect us :o

Tree is down and the living room is lovely and tidy and tranquil - wish I could say the same for the rest of the house.

    Today:
    B - Nothing
D - Omelette: Bacon, many mushrooms, 2 eggs and 20g low fat cheese
T - Speedy chicken curry from the freezer (can't remember exactly what's in it as I made it on 1st May  but all my SW saucy things tend to have grated carrot and courgette etc in as well as whatever else - mushrooms, tomatoes, etc), with a frozen "green rice" steam bag thing - I think it's shredded kale or something
    HEA - Milk and cheese
    HEB - Nothing
Syns - Sugar in coffee (5), two lebekuchen stars (3.5) - almost chucked these out til I read they were only 34 cals each!, Quality Street (6)

I did an hour of youtube yoga this morning but haven't drunk as much water as I'd like.

  • Can heartily recommend the Moroccan meatballs and couscous from the little book that came with the latest magazine. Delicious!
