This week should be fairly straightforward as no meals out or anything - have planned my meals, done the shopping and am feeling ready to face the week!
Made some meals today for the freezer so I have plenty of syn-free home-made 'ready meals' for when I get home from work late.
Have a great week everyone x
Well done.
Plus you are so organised.
I definitely need to plan more.curl girl with a space - even though there is no space in my cupboard!!!0 -

Some brilliant losses people.
My weekend has been 'could be worse' so fingers crossed it's at least a loss this week.
Today's plan:
Breakfast - yogurt and fruit
Lunch - noodles and veg
Dinner - speedy chilli
Snacks - SF jelly, fruit
HAs - milk and cheese
HB - sesame seeds and a cereal bar
Syns - jelly (0.5), noodles (1)Zebras rock0 -
Hope everyone has had a good weekend. Good Luck for the week ahead
I had a really good Saturday, which surprised me.... and then kind of blew it by having a load of toast yesterday while working. To be fair, I was up till 2:30am workingIs that a good enough excuse?
I'm almost back at target. Not quite, about +2lbs, but if I behave this week I expect to be back there come Saturday0 -
Well done to the continued losses. Was a tad naughty at week end so on a mission to at least cancel it out, ideally lose. Not sure what I ate, but had terribly upset tum on Friday night, then got an attack of the munchies, which together with buying my brother a Vietnamese birthday lunch on Saturday, could have been really bad.
On the plus side, I walked to the restaurant & back, so 3 mile round trip, which hopefully helped and I did choose the best I could.
Yesterday was actually a free day for me, so made soup, meat balls, after a late breakfast. So dinner last night was a bowl of soup with some chicken & salad, not quite an SP day as I had a turkey rasher roll for breakfast, but not too bad.
I love the sound of the scotch eggs Bubbs, I'm allergic to pork, would beef mince work the same?A smile costs little but creates much0 -

Hi everybody.
Well done to all the losers - some great progress - and to our 2 sotw Bozwood and Curlgirl.
I've been a bit rubbish over the weekend, tbh, I do struggle when it's cold although I enjoy traditional 'winter' meals. I'm much better if I eat my tea later in the day as it avoids the temptation to snack in the evening but OH likes to eat at what I call nursery times (he starts work very early). Need a think about how to get around this....
Todays menu
B Branflakes, blueberries, 0% yoghurt and honey
L Small roll with ham and tomatoes, hula hoop pufts, orange (9.5 for the extra bread and crisps)
D Ham and leek pasta bake with salad - there'll be a few syns in the sauce but hoping to keep under 15 today.
Off to plan meals for the week. Take care all.0 -
Hello all! I've had a busy weekend welcoming a new feline friend into the home! She's a lovely tabby who belonged to my gran's neighbour who died before Christmas. She'd been living in local gardens and eluding capture for about five weeks, but I managed to grab her on Friday and bring her home. My own pusscat is not too impressed but there haven't been any real fisticuffs so fingers crossed they'll soon get used to each other. This new one is a real lap cat too so that should mean less opportunity for me to get up and wander to the fridge
(*I feel I should add, I've been in touch with the late owner's family and they are happy for me to take the cat as none of them are able - the way I've written it above makes it sound like I've just catnapped her!)
Brilliant losses coming in still, everyone seems v motivated :T Well done CurlGirl and Bozwood on SOTW and thanks as always to Chris.
Today:
B - None
D - Cinnamon porridge
T - Beef and veg curry, couscous
HEA - Milk
HEB - Oats
Syns - Sugar in porridge and coffee (5), hot choc (2)
Exercise - C25K Week 3 Run 1, 1.5 hours yoga
I've been trying to do Meat-free Mondays but it doesn't really work as I need freezer meals for tea as I'm out at yoga 6-8.30pm, and most of what's in the freezer is curries and bologneses containing meat. So instead I'm going to try meat-free lunches on weekdays - this will mean cutting down on bacon big-time as I use it a lot in omelettes, sandwiches and pasta, but it seems Quorn do a syn-free version so I'll see if I can find some of that.
Have a good day everyone!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Well that was unexpected!
Thanks Chris
Afternoon all.
Well done to all the losers. :Tcurl girl with a space - even though there is no space in my cupboard!!!0
