    That looks nice in next doors garden :rotfl::rotfl: how did you make sausage casserole?

    :rotfl::rotfl:

    I sort of made it up with what I had bubbles...

    Chopped onions and cooked until softened. Added a pile of mixed peppers..Red, yellow and orange I had in the freezer and chopped up a load of mild chillis and added...Cooked that gently for about 5-10 mins...

    blitzed a load of cherry tomatoes from the freezer.. a tin of tomatoes and a small tin of tomato paste.

    Added chopped Chorizo sausage, also I had some slimzone sausages I had bought from Asda. They were so bland I couldn't eat them. So chopped them into chunks to. Added to the onion/pepper mixture and cooked for a while longer. Added a tub of cooked chopped carrots a tin of butter beans and the tomato sauce along with some garlic paste, 2 teaspoons of smoked Paprika and one half teaspoons of Cumin. One chicken oxo for a bit more flavour.

    It is now simmering slowly for an hour or so until I think its of the right consistency and will season to taste...

    I couldn't tell you the amount of calories or syns but I would not think there is too much as long as I don't over portion my plate...:D

    OMG, I'm rich! Silver in the hair, Gold in the teeff, Crystals in the Kidney, Sugar in the blood, Lead in the butt, Iron in the arteries and an inexhaustible supply of natural gas! I never thought I would accumulate such wealth!! :rotfl::rotfl:

    I only used one Chorizo sausage of 160gms....I will probably get 10 meals out of this for me.

    I might mess about with your Scotch Eggs and use Turkey mince...

    Hope everyone is well - I've been mia a lot this week ...the cold weather certainly hasn't been encouraging me to go out running and as a result WI yesterday saw +1lb. I will have to buck up my ideas as I've entered the local 10K that takes place in 10 weeks time...so I have no excuses not to go now.

    This week should be fairly straightforward as no meals out or anything - have planned my meals, done the shopping and am feeling ready to face the week!
    Made some meals today for the freezer so I have plenty of syn-free home-made 'ready meals' for when I get home from work late.
    Have a great week everyone x
