L jacket pot, b.beans, broccoli, apple
D boiled rice, peas, broccoli, 2 fried eggs, cheese (2x hexa)
    2 celebrations (5)

I did not plan too well this week and money is being stretch as this is the last shop before pay day. So next week I will be better prepared!

Bubbs i add cumin to my chilli as well as paprika, garlic, onion and chilli powder and passata we don't make it too hot as ds does not like very spicy food.
Have not attempted hula hooping yet as too tired after work, think I need to ease myself in gently....

sary, do ask if you want us to look up any syn values for you.:) We're happy to do that for anyone doing SW from home. I suspect if SW are selling the books on eBay then there'll be a few more along soon. Great idea to put the post from esmy at the start of the thread tweets (thanks chrisv). We're often asked what it's like doing SW online so that might help.:)

Thank you! If I get really stuck I will. I've previously always been able to access the online help with SW, but as I'm not paid up this time, I do find I miss it.

Tomorrow is another day. We all have those days when we can find ourselves practically overtaken by our inner gremlin. No idea why we do it, but don't allow one day sabotage the rest of the week.

Maman you're right, I really do need to try to plan a bit better for my meals. Wednesdays are a night that I don't cook for anyone else (I have a few nights off cooking duties each week now I'm working FT) but that means no one else cooks those nights, so I still have to plan for me. OH just has Weetabix, because he really can't be bothered to cook after he gets in from the gym at 7, and he's starving.

I opted tonight for a sort of all day breakfast style meal. It was made up as I went along, starting with 2 veggie sausages, so here's how today's meals ended up:

B - porridge HEB, milk from HEA, sugar (1), dolce gusto (2)
    L - Kingsmill wholemeal thin (5) chicken, clover spread (1); 0% yogurt & apple (1.5)
D - LM veggie sausages (1), bacon, beans, eggs, mushrooms
HEA was milk in porridge & teas
    snacks: apple
    Total syns: 11.5
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home

Phew, just caught up on the last couple of days.

Well done in all losses and PPI gains!

Thanks for the post Esmy some interesting points. I have a very old book from when I first joined. I am thinking of joining next week and going to group for a while as a friend I've not seen much lately has just got to target and I didn't know she was going. If I don't end up staying at least I will have new books.

Like others say though, the old way worked, so as long as you don't mix and match.

Re the chillie.we add a stock cube, cumin, chillies, paprika, peppers, and if we want to make it go further or more juicy a tin of baked beans, as well as the other things you already have. It's one of the things OH does in the slow cooker and batch freeze to have as a quick midweek tea. Oh and in the summer when we have loads of courgettes from the allotment they go in too.

Good idea about the fromage frais I always struggled with buying, ff, yoghurt, quarks etc then not using it all, I hate waste. I hadn't thought of freezing it. Is there a fat free fromage frais? Or are there syns?

I didn't manage to get up early on Tuesday for s run, not been sleeping well. I went I the afternoon and did 3k in an ok time and went out early this morning and did 5k so am happy with myself. Today was hard as I had a cold over new year and am still coughing a bit.
No run in the morning as I have a journey in to work on Thursdays.

I also started with C25K some years ago, but only ran on a treadmill, I started running outside last easter and now love it. Very cold this morning in the Peak District though.

Night all, hope for a good day for everyone tomorrow.

bubbs , I adapt the Hairy Bikers chilli recipe. I don't thicken it and always add extra veg like diced carrot, peppers and mushrooms. I make it in the slow cooker and batch freeze. It always tastes better if you don't eat it the same day as it marinates and deepens the flavours. I think the passata can be gloopy compared with tinned tomatoes.

I make a veggie chilli too. I use the same recipe but leave out the meat and put a selection of beans in instead. Home Bargains often have all sorts of beans on offer. That's cheaper to make than with meat. It's great with a JP at lunch time. I like it with cottage cheese on top, syn free alternative to sour cream.

No I don't use my ip for chilli as I like to use it for rice when we have chilli, so either sc or just on the stove
