Hi all, Lots of you are doing really well already after the festering season. I gave myself permission to have whatever I fancied during this time, including today. I can't bear to throw stuff out because it's not SW friendly and then have to buy other stuff to replace it. I still have a few chocs (gave a heap to DH) and a big unopened box. That will probably go to a raffle somewhere Next birthday is mine and that's not until March!). There's still half of my Christmas cake, but because that's rich, its not such a temptation. I forgot to cancel my Hello Fresh delivery so I have 3 meals to use this week. I never did get the freezer emptied, lol, and Christmas leftovers are in there now too. All that should keep my shopping bills down!

Footie went well yesterday - a win and moved up to 2nd bottom! But I wasn't there as we had another event in the evening and would not have got home in time. :{ Hope you're ok Stoke. It seems your player, Waddington, did very well yesterday.

Hoping to make a decent stab at getting back on track, despite using up so much of the "wrong" stuff.

    Thanks for being there, everyone.

There is loads you can eat/eggs/chicken/past/rice/fruit/veg/seafood sticks/chips/jp/pickles all free.
You should NEVER be hungry !!!
If you starve yourself you dont get such a good loss as your body goe into starvation mode
Only things you need to resist are choc/cake/nuts/bread (if you have had hexb or syn some)

I don't think I ate enough last week as I went to bed hungry 2 nights which is not like me.
Plus if I feel hungry I will give in so quickly.
I need to get snacks organised for next week.
curl girl with a space - even though there is no space in my cupboard!!!

I love Turkish food gtq. What did you have? :)

Izgara kofte, chicken, liver, rice & bulgar, with yummy salad. There was so much to eat, but thoroughly enjoyed it!

Great choices. It's making me long for my Turkish trip in June. :)

Unfortunately many of my favourites are not so SW friendly. I love mucver and the aubergine & tomato puree but they have cheese and oil. Then there's a fabulous restaurant we go to that does courgette chips. They (and the view from the restaurant) are to die for. :)
  • First weigh in on the new challenge... another 1 lb gone :)

Well done to everyone else too!

    Evening all.
Hope you've all had a good weekend. I did too much yesterday and paid the price today with an achy back. Feeling better for a day resting it, with a bit of gentle pottering about.

    Today's munch:

Brunch - porridge (hexb) sugar 1 syn, banana, apple 1.5 syns
snack - coconut fat free kvarg (yummy and 17g of protein) 0.5 syns; apple
    Dinner - pasta carbonara 3 syns - cheese hexa1
Treat - hot choc 8 syns
    Hexa2 - milk teas/splash in porridge/splash in carbonara
    Total syns: 14
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home
