  • Afternoon everyone! Weighed in this morning and over the moon to see a 4.6lb loss on the scales! Really wasn't expecting that as I've been really bloated for most of the week.

Thanks for the chart Chris, sorry I'm late with reporting my first week's result. Hope things start to calm down for your family soon.

Back to work today after a busy weekend and could just do with a nap (especially after going to the gym at 5am) so will leave a little early today as I built up some additional hours last week.

    B - Porridge (HEA & HEB), banana
L - Ham and Leek Risotto (gammon, leek, onion, courgette, rice)
D - Sausages (3 syns), mash, broccoli, cauliflower
S - ONE Ferrero Rocher (just found the box when tidying away the Christmas bits) (3.5 syns)

Hope everyone has had a good start to the week, back to my spreadsheets I go.

Well done Ruby.....Great start...Keep it up...Summer is on the way..:D

Couldn't weigh in this morning as I stayed at my mums. Will have to do it tomorrow.

    B - Coffee

L - Enchilada lasagne (I initially cut it in eighths, but found this wasn't enough :o for dinner, so had a quarter, but I think if I make it in future, I will attempt to somehow cut into sixths as a quarter has made me feel like a pig)

    Okros Yogurt

    Hula Hoop Puffs

D - Sausages, Wedges, Carrots - This is where I'm not following the plan exactly as the sausages are the ones my kids like and I didn't want to buy any different. But the wedges and carrots should be syn free.

    S - Tea, Alpen Bar.
Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010
    Mortgages (End 2017) - £180,235.03
    (End 2021) - £131,215.25 DID IT!!!
    (End 2022) - Target £116,213.81

    :T You're a star chrisv.
Thanks for checking in Stoke. Posting isn't compulsory but we were worried about you.:)

Apologies :( I most often check-in at work, so obviously Christmas I was avoiding my computer as much as possible :D Hope you weren't fearing the worst.

I'm actually in a really good place at the moment. I've promised myself that 2019 is going to be a better year than 2018..... and I'm already starting in a better place, after all, I'm about 6+ stone lighter :D:D

In all honesty, sometimes a bad year is a bad year, and you just write it off. That's my 2018.

Hope everyone is doing well!! :)

Great to see you back here Lush, and glad things have finally come to a head with your ex and you can start to move on with your life. (I mean that in the kindest possible way, it looks a bit harsh there in black and white!)

not harsh - it was long overdue i think. it was leave or have a mental breakdown/get sectioned that day!

Except to say that I'm really pleased for you!:T You know I've hinted (heavily) at the lack of support you've had and that's just with SW.

Hope it's all resolved as quickly as possible. :A

I can see that it makes sense to eat from the freezer at the moment, especially to save money on SSP. But when that's done then the parents can do SW as well!!:D I'm sure you'll do your best to eat on plan as much as possible. No problem asking for syn values whenever you want.

I know what you mean about feeling guilty. My consultant gets very little money out of me as a target member and I'd have happily paid for the books but because I wanted to hear the talk as well I got the books free. It's difficult.

I thought you might be 'proud' of me maman or at least happy I could finally break free of it all. Far too much drama for one lifetime...I'm in no way looking for anything new right now but I know what to avoid now!

The freezer appears to be a lot of fish steaks/pieces so not so bad. A few bits I won't touch anyway and then mostly sides like garlic bread etc which i can easily syn in to other meals. i need to do a proper written inventory but it's too cold for me to be out there any great length of time!

Mum and brother both want to eat SW way and dad won't have a choice now as I'm taking over the cooking whilst i am here. mostly because dad can't get up much before midday due to treatment etc but i'm so used to being ott prepared on school days. I'm even sending the others to work with packed lunches!

thank you :) on a journey to discovering who I am nowadays which is already interesting. I'm going to cut my hair a lot shorter (wasn't allowed) and got a helix piercing (also not allowed) and have been enjoying plenty of make up free days (also not allowed...do you see a pattern here ;) ) Hopefully weightloss will slot in now :)
