Hi all and Happy New Year.
Can I please join in (again). Last time was a couple of years ago but I didn't stick with it.
I usually don't find the time to read through all the posts, but as this was new I have sat and read through it all. You are all very encouraging.

Can I please join the challenge and aim for a goal of 8lb in the 9 weeks left.
    Hello and welcome :D

I know you like to use syns in your recipes tete but You might like to try Tesco wine stock pots. I use the red wine ones for boeuf bourguignon (we're having it tomorrow:D) and they're really excellent. I have some white wine ones too but haven't used those yet.

Thanks Maman, I'll bear these in mind. This was just a big batch of risotto I made when off the wagon that worked out low syn so I was happy to eat it up, especially as it was mostly beetroot.

Tomorrow is D Day for me - after about 20 months of injury after injury I'm going to attempt a run  Going back to basics with the Couch to 5K as last time I went straight into running several miles and hurt myself again. Wish me luck!
