Just reporting that dance-towers’ ironing basket is empty.

Thank you for all your company in the past year. Sorry I have been missing quite a lot.

i don’t plan to stay up to see the new year in, in case mother presses her lifeline again during the night.

DS2 is screaming at the moment. He has been fairly good over the last week.

Hope you all have an enjoyable evening x

About to prep veg for roast later. DH is at work, guests are still in bed.

  • Morning friends,

We had a lovely evening, no hangover at all as I was very sensible and also cleaned the kitchen before bed. Today will be dog walks, a trip to the park and films :)

    Hi all

    Happy New Year!

Up and about (although I was in the kitchen making cheese toasties for DS1 and GF at 2am). Parents coming for lunch, off to prepare casserole in a minute.

Havent heard anything from DS2 which is a little odd, I sent him a NY Message last night. Hoping that doesnt mean that he got too drunk.

Have a lovely day today flylady friends, lets see what 2019 brings us x

Well done to everyone who cleared their ironing by New Year's Day.

I hadn't planned it, but yes, if anyone wants to send me their Christmas cards I can recycle them into new ones and then send random ones back to those that want them.

Shower room and bathroom for me today; both are okayish but if I do them I'd feel virtuous. No need to get the vaccuum cleaner out every day any more, which doesn't make me feel as good as it should.
    Better is good enough.

Morning all. Planned clean of kitchen didnt happen as DD and I baked. DW has been on, but more pots to go in. Saw New Year in then came to bed so house will need attention. Going to the aged Ps for New Year dinner. So I will clean up first. Trying to pluck up mojo to get out of bed and make a coffee. Ironing basket challenge failed. Not much to iron though.

    Happy New Year all.

Good morning all, and a happy new year.
We had a lovely evening with friends and neighbours (one and the same, we are very lucky!). DD is still at a sleepover, and I was pretty much on water, just in case and also knowing I had to pick her up sometime this morning. The result is that I have stripped her bed and the bedding is in the wm. DH on the other hand....

Today I will start to remove some of Christmas from the house by stealth, to see how far I get before complaints set in. I think we are going to have pasta for dinner, as I am craving something simple, and that will keep the troops happy.

HB - a squishy new year hug for you x
