Hurrah for the weekend. I still have Fridays list to do so will have to play catch up later.
Valli, hope the washing line is sortable and you don't have to re wash much. Book and coffee sound like a good plan. I have tea and a purring George to fuss before I can get on.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
Morning
Cycling with my ladies group this morning - and it's unbelievably cold out there! However this is good for my physical and mental health and good for mixing with other people (which I am bad at). So I want to do more of it this year. We aren't going far.
DSs car to collect from garage (pray for a small bill), DHs miniscule monthly bills to do, rest of Christmas gibble to tidy away and some dog hairs to hoover up.0 -
Morning all.
I’m not sure of a plan for today yet but no doubt it will involve washing, ironing and also running the vacuum cleaner around. Everywhere just looks.....tired.
DH is planning a morning in his shed, doing goodness knows what and DD doesn’t require ferrying anywhere as she is again back to studying. I’m a also hoping to get a walk in at some point as I could do with the fresh air.0 -

Didn't have to rewash any, it fell down dry and I saw it drop and it fell onto dry ground!
It loops up the garden then backgain, it was only the up section that fell as it was tied round the washing post. I bought a new line yesterday but only long enough to do one direction, I will check the othe4 side and replace that if. Necessary. Was just wear and tear.
Fell back to sleep actually, just woke up and have a coffee,Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Managed a good nights sleep, only woke twice, eventually decided to get up at 8am.. That’s a real lie in for me
It’s helped as I do feel so much better than I have in a while, bloomin lurgies!
Washing off the horse and into airing cupboard, will pack that away just before work later.

Morning ladies!
Tiny is running around starkers and refusing to get dressed. It may have something to do with the fact I lit the woodburner at 6am when I got up...looked at the oil gauge and decided I need to use wood to heat the house and water more
No midnight streaking required last night, but I did retire early to catch up on lost sleep and feel much better for it today. Apologies to those who cannot now get an image of me mopping the floor in now't but my slippers
So, all animals checked, fed and watered. Kids have had Haribos for breakfast (other options were dismissed in disgust) Ah well, once all the sweets are gone there will be nothing except proper food to eat...
Just roasted some pumpkin seeds saved from when I made roasted red pepper and pumpkin soup with a pumpkin that had been lurking in the stable since Hallowe'en - (tasted nice, so froze that down for lunches for me when the kids are back at school.) Only 54,987 minutes to go until then...
WM on, DW on, TD on, gammon cooking in the oven, kitchen tidied, cuppa brewed. Emails and texts to sort now.
Fingers crossed Pigpen that you can last until Sunday. The joys of spending time away, eh?0 -
Morning all. I've stripped and remade the bed and done one load of washing. The rest will have to wait until tomorrow because we're out shortly, dog sitting. I also dusted and polished and vacuumed right through the house and washed the kitchen floor. Mostly to get warm! I don't want to put the heating back on when we're out for the day. It will be nice to get home to though.0

I have walked the dogs. LittleyDog has come back filthy (she's white) so it's bath time for them both now.Spend less now, work less later.0

Morning all (just!)
We've been out and about this morning, on foot into the village, boy it's cold still. Back now and DH is tinkering with the car, kiddies watching Harry Potter
We are having fish and chips for lunch as an end of school holidays treat, which I will enjoy greatly. Back on the BSD of 800 calories per day from Monday, I know it works so should shift the weight that has snuck on. Aiming to be 9 stone something by DS birthday in March.
Right I'm off to eathave lovely afternoons all xx
