    Hello everyone!

It's been a mixed bag for Cazzie money-wise this week! On the plus side I was thrilled to win 4 prizes totalling £100 on the Premium Bonds but then HMRC burst my bubble with a nasty tax bill! I had a period off sick in 2017 and my pay has been all over the place since. I'm already paying back over £3K of overpay (luckily I realised it wasn't mine so set it aside) so I'm going to be having words and checking their calculations to make sure they've got it right before I part with any more pennies!

Oh well, I've stuck with my trusty pot and am up to date to today. Pleased with my running total of £207.39. Hoping I don't have to start raiding my pot for any more nasty surprises! It's currently a sealed tin so hoping it can stay that way until New Year's Day 2020!

How are you all doing? Hope your pots are filling up nicely.

Right, I'm off to do some comping to try and boost the funds! Have a happy Sunday!

  • #7 with an update to say I am failing miserably at this so far :( one car was in the garage for an unexpected repair. So far all I’ve saved is a measly £10.46. Hoping to catch up by the end of next month (I’m doing this challenge backwards)

    Hi everyone!

Goodness me, I've been slacking! But my two week delay has been rectified and I can now declare a pot total of £248.90! :D Very pleased with this and pleased I'm still managing to tick off the biggest amounts left, although I am fast running out of change! Better get out and look for some roadkill! (Found a lovely shiny 10p the other day!)

    How are you all doing?

Hi, no. 13 checking in here. £12.50 added to my pot. I am slightly ahead on the calendar on money being added to the pot each day, am now up to 4th April but know I will have to add to the pot larger amounts of money. I'll do it!

Have emptied all the money out of my purse as it's payday on Friday and, if it's not in my purse tomorrow, I can't spend it! So can now report in that #26 is up to £115.84. Slow progress but getting there.
