#32 weekly check in - added £8.95 this week instead of £2.17, not a massive amount but hopefully if I keep going over every week it will all add up!
Terrible week for credit card though, boiler broke down so had to fork out £200 for repair, is week before payday and going away next weekend so had to put it on the card. Planning to pay it straight off on payday on top of my usual payment. To be honest in this weather you can't really put a price on having heating and hot water! However it has made me see that I really should have an emergency fund for these sorts of things.
So my January total is £73.85 instead of £4.96 if I had just been sticking to the penny a day rule. Very happy with this!
Enjoying reading all of your posts - well done everyone! The 365 day penny challenge #32: £149.17/£667.95
