I'm down to 11 and a half stone now. That means I have lost 4 and a half stone in two years.
I want to get down to 11 stone by the end of the month as I'm going to a meet-up and seeing people I haven't seen in 15 years. All men!:rotfl:
I'm going out to buy some more fresh fruit and veg. I'm wearing my long black ASOS dress with black flowery sandals, my red cardigan and red bag and long silver necklace.
I have to go and get the teeth moulds fitted tomorrow for the whitening treatment.humptydumptybits wrote: »
Some of us need to get together and give me some of your spare weight.
You are welcome to some of mine.;)sugarbaby125 wrote: »
I am going to Pizza Express Herne Hill this afternoon to celebrate my son's birthday.
I used to live near Brockwell park.:Dsavingfortomorrow wrote: »I have been focusing upon eating better- everyday and creating new habits. Im eating more plant based foods- I am not going vegan by any means but trying to reduce simple carbohydrates and increase my veg intake instead. I have introduced more fermented foods to alter my biome and loads of pre and probiotics. I feel that my mood has elevated and more positive. Hopefully it will help long term. My skin has improved and looks clearer. I feel like I am fabbing myself from the inside out.
When I went vegan from vegetarian lots of people told me how good my skin looked. I think that is one of the reasons people think I'm younger than 43.:)0 -
SFT you are doing so well with our decluttering and your healthier eating. Both are proving to be very beneficial to you
LL and Chanie thank you. Yes we all had a really good meal in Pizza Express
Today the sun is shining again in London. The buses that usually run to and from Camberwelll Green are on diversion so I had to walk there and back. I was wearing a Papaya black vest top, a black flippy skirt and black socks with my black leather trainers. I wore trainers as I knew I wanted to get some top up shopping and it makes it easier for me to carry the shopping. I was looking far from glamorous, but I still had 2 men trying to get my attention as I walked along.
I went dancing last night at the same local wine bar in Herne Hill that I go to for Karaoke mid week. I had a fabulous night out dancing the night away. Even though my right arm is still not fully recovered and my left knee was painful, I enjoyed myself. I danced with 2 men that asked me to dance. the 1st man was a right show off and got on my nerves, but the 2nd man seemed really nice and we danced so similar in terms of our personal dance moves, so we got a lot of attention for our dancing, because there were times when we matched each other step for step.
I wore a backless halter neck black top with a black paneled skirt and my Van Dal black patent wedge heel peep toe sling backs and I was carrying my patent black Osprey handbag and a black cardigan. I layered my perfume with the matching body lotion.0 -
Good morning lovely ladies
How are we all.
I'm feeling really good at the moment (apart from the usual aches and pains of course:rotfl:). I worked myself to a standstill yesterday so feeling quite sore and stiff this morning, so I'll have nice soak in the bath in a minute to get me started.
Had a trying on session yesterday, can now comfortably fit to size 14. :j. Soon be time for another wardrobe sort out. Only another 0.8lb to go meet my birthday target weight. (Saturday). Then maybe another 10lbs or so. I'll see how I go. I don't want to look scraggy or gaunt in the face.
It's another lovely sunny day.......:D0 -
Hello Ladies,
I had an emergency dental appointment yesterday morning because of acute pain in my left lower jaw.The dentist was fantastic with me.
I was dreading it, but he put me at my ease and did a temporary fix on the wisdom tooth giving me all of the pain. I have another appointment tomorrow morning and I will get a referral to a dental surgeon for extraction. Sooner I get that appointment the better. Even with painkillers and Bonjela, I am in a lot of pain.
I had to cancel going to Karaoke with my sister H, who is visiting her adult daughter and family in London last night.
I am keeping busy to try to distract my mind from the relentless pain. It is having a very negative effect on my ability to stay asleep. I am being woken up by the severity of the pain.
Ah well, at the least the sun is shining here in London.0 -

Ouch SUgarbaby. How awful. Hope you get it sorted soon.
Good morning lovely ladies.....
Just had a mammoth trying on session. I now have two bags full of clothes that are TOO BIG:j:j
I'm off out to town this afternoon so will take the one with the really good stuff to a dress agency and see if they are interested. Try and make a few pennies. The other one which still has nice things but not quite so fancy I'll take to my favourite chazza.
So....I'm now slipping nicely Into size 14 and small 16s. Wahoo.
It's a great feeling. I shall be able to release my inner fashionista before you know it. It has to be said clothes look so much nicer on a trimmer body, they do hang better without all the unsightly lumps and bumps.
And of course the delight in being able to wear things I really like rather than always going for the option that gives the illusion of slimness.
I actually got a glimpse of myself naked yesterday. (Ooh er misssus). I was pleasantly surprised!!! I'd forgotten how I used to look before all the blubber piled on. Quite gratifying even if I do say so myself.......;).
Another glorious day here. Just going to tackle some ironing before it gets really hot.0 -
Sugar hope the pain goes away soon and that you will feel better. Dental pain is terrible.0

Good morning lovely ladies....
Well I took my bag of good quality clothes to the dress agency. They would only accept two dresses, they said they don't take formal occasion wear. I was hot and bothered having lugged the wretched bag across the city plus I was meeting friends for tea so didn't want the hassle of carrying it around any more. I made a quick executive decision and donated the rest to the nearest chazza around the corner.
My generousity paid off because I picked up the most fabulous beaded evening top for £10. Karma..
Don't know how much the dresses will fetch but something is better than nothing. She seemed confident that they would sell easily enough. And at least I now know the types of clothes she is looking for.
Off out this evening. Don't really fancy it but it's part of my new commitment to get out and about.
The world is not going to come knocking on my door ..I have to at least try and meet it half way.:rotfl:
Carpet fitter came and priced up this morning. Was pleasantly surprised with the quote so am firing ahead week after next.0 -

Good morning Lovely Ladies.......
Yes Moll, it's our big day today. :rotfl: I'm 68 years young today .....and getting younger each year.
Enjoy your day, and have a fabulous time......
And remember to just say YES to everything. Yes to cake, yes to wine, yes to dancing until your knees give way. :rotfl: and yes to anything else that might take your fancy,
Sorry to hear you are having heart problems, but as always the sooner it's done the better, hopefully in plenty of time for your trip to America. Now that's definitely something to say YES to. And well done on treating yourself to some new clothes.
How I have I done......well I am just 0.8lbs short of reaching my target. I'll take that.. Near enough.
.
I am being taken out for a posh afternoon tea today, and then lunch on Monday. I shall eat, drink and be merry.
Last night I started the birthday celebrations slightly early. I went out dancing and had a fabulous time. Joining the Meet Up group was definitely one of my better ideas. When they realised it was my birthday today they all went overboard to help me celebrate. The singer sang Happy Birthday.
I had to smile. I was told by more than one person how nice I looked, "elegant" was the word most used.
Apart from my shoes and undies I was dressed entirely in Charity Shop Chic. I costed out my outfit - a black and white swirly skirt (great for dancing, I must look out for more that style), white top trimmed with black embroidery, cerise pink jacket and my new to me black leather handbag came to the grand total of £12.
Who says you need to be rich to dress well.
Anyway today I'm going to indulge and pamper myself .......
Let's get this party started......0
