As its a glitch and not planned, no one can say for sure.

Given earlier information in this thread that those affected appear to be those on or around 7th and your due date is not until 10th it seems unlikely that you will be affected. However as this has apparent ally all been caused by a computer glitch I don’t see that anyone can give you a definitive answer. You’ll just have to wait and see but at least if you do get one week payment this week you will know what’s going on.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.

Dont be worried as its been caused by a computer glitch which DWP know about
so they have paid you a weeks sum today and you will get the other week on Jan 10th.

if you read the thread its happened to a lot of people.
  • Me too. My payment was due on the 10rh and I got 1 week's worth today. Totally freaked me out. I'm glad I saw this forum, otherwise I'd be panicking. It must be everyone due to be paid next week.
  • I went onto the government gateway and it says that anyone due a payment week starting the 7th jan 19 will get half their payment week starting the 31st dec 18.

I myself was just freaked out as I had already had one payment early as it was due Boxing Day and dropped in Christmas Eve instead. So was pretty panicked when I saw money go in the 2nd jan 19 that I didn’t think I should have.

    But all is ok.

Like you guys my heart nearly fell out of my chest and I nearly passed out thinking my money was stopping without warning but it’s all normal and we can now calm down
  • Aparrently they’re paying half now and the other half on due date
  • Hi yes I received a weeks money today I wasn’t due to get paid 2 weeks till next week a friend of mine has also had this I was a bit worried to
