freeview box and £50 marks and sparks vouchers (merged)

Hi,

Can anyone help me please? I have received my Freeview box today (Astratec) but I can't access the menu. When I press the guide button if I then press the blue button it does not access the menu. Instead it just scrolls through the TV guide. I might just be being thick but I can't see any menu or help option. Can anyone help put me on the right track?

Hi Tracy

After you press the blue button, you should have a list on the right hand side of the screen, it isn't very obvious, have you got that?

You need to press the guide button and then the blue button, let me know what you see on the screen

When I press Guide the programme guide comes up. When I press blue it just moves the programme guide on 1 day. It does not say help or Teletext Extra anywhere.

Might be worth unplugging the box and then plugging it back in and see if that helps, another thought is that it may not have been used often enough to allow access to the menu yet, it's supposed to be a weeks viewing.

They have a few contact options on the website, if you get no joy.

Hi,

To update: the box needed to be rebooted because it had not loaded Teletext Extra so all I was getting was the bog-standard 7 day guide. It is now working and I can access all the features.
Yippee!!! (Now looking forward to my M&S vouchers next year)
