Apologies for reraising the issue concerning BPA as ATA shown on IPC AoS members signs.
Probably clutching at straws but from the web site of the ppc named Central Parking Management Ltd it states:-
"Now please check your ticket to ensure it was issued by Central Parking Management, and not UK Car Park Management (who use the abbreviation “CPM” on their tickets but are a different company) If your ticket was issued by UK Parking Management they are a different company and we cannot help you. Their website is at www.uk-carparkmanagement.co.uk."
As per IPC AoS members list for Central Parking Management Ltd:-
"Central Parking Management Ltd (Trading As Central Parking Management Ltd)
Accreditation Start Date:
19/04/2029 - (should this in fact be 19/04/2019?)
www.cpm.uk"
The parking event of the OP appears to be approx August 2018 - is it in anyway possible that Central P M were involved in the cp management and in the BPA before 19.4.2019 (if this is correct) and that any signs have been mixed up.
As I said, clutching at straws.
If the OP is of a mind to post the address of the parking event and a copy of the sign it may help.2 -
Thanks grandad1505,
PCN and entrance notice both say UK Car Parking Management for sure..
It seems UK Car Parking Management use the logo CPM hence the possible confusion between the two!0 -
Thanks Redx,
Was wondering what MrMercury was on about!0 -
Thanks KeithP,
Have had a reply from DVLA now, asking for a bit more info as my photographic evidence didn’t attach, so all good, thankyou0 -
Your thread is quite long but I assume you've read all the UKCPM claim cases and are up to speed with their WS issue with the facsimile Jack Chapman signature and are ready for that?
If not, search & learn and be ready to add yours to the SRA complaints about Gladstones, when you get their WS.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi all,
Please help, am unsure of what to do next... Received an email today from Gladstones with an attachment of their Directions Questionnaire, plus their email mentions that they have elected to mediate in an attempt to settle this matter amicably and that I need to inform the Court if I agree to this..
I have not yet received anything via the post relating to this next stage.. Wondering will I? Or do I need to deal with it via MCOL?
Also to report back (re my complaint to the DVLA about the fact that their signage displayed the BPA logo and not the IPC logo that they are currently members of... their reply said :-
“ IPC do prefer members to redact the BPA logo on becoming a member of the IPC, however this is not a requirement of membership. They do not consider the presence of an incorrect logo prejudices the recipient“
I have checked the AOS for IPC and this does seem to be the case!
Thanks again re your ongoing support, don’t not what I’d do without you all...!0 -
Re-read items 7 and 8 in the list in my 17th December post on this thread.3

This simple stage and how to fill in your DQ, is fully covered in the NEWBIES thread, when you get/download the DQ.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hiya all,
I did complete all the actions required and suggested here, so DQ was all done in time...
I now have a General Form of Judgement or Order which says the District Judge has considered all the papers and states stuff about physical hearings to only take place if a remote hearing is not possible as a result of The Guidance of the Lord Chief Justice dated 23rd March 2020... plus stuff about County court hearings etc due to COVID 19 and litigants involved necessitates remote hearings and states the rules of court etc/relevant CPR parts..
it then says IT IS ORDERED without a hearing THAT
Allocation
1) The claim is allocated to the small claims track
Suitability for determination on paper
2) Pursuant to the power to do so in CPR Part 27.4(1)(e), the court gives notice to the parties that it considers the claim suitable for determination on the papers without a hearing as permitted under CPR27.10 if all parties agree to this.
3) That I must notify XXXXX and every other party by 6.5.20.
Then some other stuff about if I/we don’t agree that I must state my reasons, after which the judge will decide without a hearing if suitable for some sort of remote hearing or wether it should be deferred till after COVID restrictions, plus stuff before that stating what will happen if I do agree...Also that any party may apply to have order set aside/stayed/varied etc..though from what I’ve just looked up this doesn’t appear to be a good option!?
Not sure what to do..as don’t want my case to be prejudiced at these unusual times by saying I’d prefer to have an actual hearing! Or to be prejudiced if I don’t have one!!
Please advise in these unusual times.. hope you are all keeping well and healthy. ☀️0 -
You need to object but be aware the court may insist.
Read the Telephone Hearings thread by me. I posted an email of what to submit to the court and bargepole posted a list of which courts have access to the defence and which will not. You need to read it (no link).
Also, at least a dozen other thread posters are working on this today. Read them!
EDIT: I've just replied there again with a DRAFT ORDER to try to get cases struck out with no hearing...PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
