Hello all,
hugs MadamMim2013
MrsSD, my target is 200 000 euros….. long time to go.1st goal: 0/936 euros
2nd goal: 0/15160 euros0 -
Morning everyone,
MadamMin so sorry to hear about your DS and your face - hope you feel better today.
I took a huge bag of books to the charity shop, really pleased. I made a rookie mistake and looked back through the pile. 3 of them sneaked back into the house. They can have a reprieve until next time. If I’m not sure I let things stay.
OH is home alone this weekend and tells me he has big decluttering and eb*y plans. I would love to reclaim our living room but I estimate it will be a 6 month job.
Anyone know any good companies that sell on there and share the money? I wonder how much you lose of the sale...
Happy decluttering everyone!0 -
MadamMin sorry to hear about your son. Hugs.
MrsSD I think now when most photos are digital and only a tiny amount are actually printed is great.
189- a mug to work. Mine had gone missing.
190- a cloth bag recycked.
191 more paperwork.
Off to tidy the kitchen and then declutter.0 -

Just given nest of 3 cake tins to a Freegler and asked if they would be interested in the square Christmas biscuit tin too, that was a yes. Took receit of 2 cup cakes which I have now de-cluttered, they were lovely so email will be sent soon to thank. Whilst packing Mum's crockery I found another set of cups and saucers, a recognisable pattern but am not goin g to check and see if they are valuable or I will never get rid of them so they are in the box with other stuff. Found a biscuit tin in the cupboard with some old card games we played as kids, WHOT, PIT, Cantraband ? a couple of packs of cards and a pkt of Canasta, never did learn how to play that but Mum & Dad did. Putting on Frfeegle soon, maybe put the Canasta on a selling site as that is in v.good condition. Onwards and outwards !!!!0

Good luck all I will join this thread properly as I start to unpack
Someone we knew were moving and put all the surplus they wanted to get rid of, in the front garden.
When they reached the new property the removal men has picked it up and delivered it to the new place.
Three years down the line she still had it all0 -

Remember moving from a furnished flat into our own home, and gave the removals men a cup of tea in cups belonging to the landlord. When we unpacked at the other end, the removals men had wrapped the (unwashed) cups neatly in newspaper and packed with our kitchen stuff. Our fault for not being explicit enough!2021 - mission declutter and clean - 0/20210 -
108-glitter gift bag-binned. Was hoping to reuse it but on closer inspection it was in no fit state
109 -padded envelope binned-it had been well and truly attacked by the cats!
Haven't done much more. Have a couple of items in the car ready for the CS but until I get them actually in to the CS I'm not going to count them.
Some of the neutral items I am storing for 6 months-hoping to get rid of some of these sooner as my lovely spare room is becoming cluttered again. Even though the items will go it is annoying me greatly!Decluttering challenge 2023🏅⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have another bag of stuff collected for the charity shop. :DI will get hubbie to drop it off before work next week.
I can't remember if I already said that I organised getting the fold out bed picked up next week by a charity.
I just called another local charity to see if they would want something else that I bought last year when I was ill and hardly used and they are picking it next week too. It was quite expensive so they sounded very happy to have it donated to them.:)
I ripped up some old paperwork related to my fibromyalgia as well. I want everything that reminded me of having that horrible condition out of my house for good!
