Hi all
Well I've finally finished the photo declutter. Now there's only one box instead of two and I still have the same amount of albums, but they are now only half full which I must remedy :j. I think if I fill the albums there will only be enough loose ones for a small box...... I hope :T. So I now need to sort the photos as my great grandfather's photo is mixed in with my DD's baby photos. I will leave that job for another day as I'm fed up of looking at the same old faces :rotfl:.
When I put them back in the cupboard I released into the wild, 2 bibles, 1 poetry book, 2 crystal glasses ( still boxed ) 3 kids videos, my keys from my 18th birthday ( an eon ago), another empty tin, a Ferrero Rocher box and a watch box, both minus their contents . Some items only good for binning and the rest for the cs.
Also into the recycling box, many empty photo envelopes, 2 caravan magazines and several leaflets that have been put through the door .
I had a cs bag put through the door this morning and found another bag from the same cs, so I have filled both of them. They are ready to go out on Monday. I am left with some clothes...... ok a lot of clothes and some bits and pieces which I will keep adding to. Saves me the job of trying to get them collected, for now anyway.
I shall reward myself with a soak in a bubble bath later and there's a small bag of chocs to declutter tonight. I feel really pleased with myself today, but I still have a way to go.
Happy decluttering all.Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, but this time more intelligently0 -

the luck is definitely needed with the desk >.<
Happy Kitties - re boxes - try any Avon reps near you, we are often drowning in boxes! We actually use mine to line the chicken coop but most have no use for them and struggle with having to pay to recycle them (business waste).
Ok so it's desk time!!

It has been an extremely productive (destructive?) day.
My 'room of doom' has been used as a dumping ground/ store room for over five years. Clutter, cobwebs, dust and dead flies. _pale_
Today I discovered that some of the clutter was blocking the sliding door. Ended up taking six really heavy bagfuls to the communal recycling bins: paperwork and magazines, both up to ten years old!
As Mrs Salad Dodger says, shame I am not decluttering by weight.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
