38/52 - a pile of papers and magazines sorted through and filed or recycled.

39/52 - more and more packaging recycled (still more to go but need to wait on recycling bin to be emptied).

40/52 - 2 CDs and 1 CD case binned. (Disappointed to discover that these can't be put out for recycling).

528: CD given away as present.

    Is it that time already?
    529-534: bits from the fridge
    535: leaking boots...:rotfl:
    536-537: emails cleared down.

As I've booked a carpet cleaning company for 10 days time, need to clear some corners so they get a clear run :D (But I think the TV and hifi stays where it is, plugging everything in again is tedious and prone to go wrong)
Cancel the kitchen scraps for lepers and orphans, no more merciful beheadings, and call off Christmas.

    Hi all,
Always impressed by those who post regularly, although easier to know where you are.
My next is 447 but over the week I was wondering if I was near 500 and had 474 in my head :(
been hectic at work and this week at my dad's - brought old clothes and bedspread from him for the salvation army (Keeping in the car) and papers and memorabilia he's kept from mu mum. I can't sort these now but felt I had to collect them. Also bought some lovely coloured glass from one of his CS. Lovely rose coloured jug and glasses. i know I don't need them. A few years ago had one jug and felt I needed another, I now have 7 ( lovely mid century, amber, blue, purple , turquoise and a plain and white jug..... same happened with trays. Read they are good for organising and only had one , so found some lovely ones, thought useful for DD by their bed, my room, the dining room etc.....

447 -449 crockery broken (me 2 and DD2 plastic one camping)
    450 broken pegs
451 old food from fridge and cleaned fridge
452-455 shoes, badminton raquet and chargers to CS
456 -457 old plant pots binned
458 cleaned all plugs inc shower
    459 electronic clutter
    460 paper clutter
    461 used gift cards binned
462 -463 unwanted purchases back to shops
464 rubbish from DD2 room while she was camping

A few other things being sorted but not counting til out of the house!

Sunday has been a mainly dry day - some bright sunshine, reasonably warm - a lovely autumn day :D Unfortunately I woke up with a fierce headache which lasted until about 6 p.m. & also feeling generally bleugh : So I have spent the entire day in my dressing gown ;) I have watched the motorcycle races, a couple of films & carried on knitting the 2nd baby blanket. However I have FINALLY made the chutney :rotfl: I used a combination of 2 recipes - but did not use the full amount of ingredients - I winged it :rotfl: Hg tomatoes, cooking apples, red & white onions, raisins, garlic, Demerara sugar, cayenne pepper, ground ginger, salt, pickling spices & pickling vinegar (rather than malt vinegar). The smell whilst it was cooking was eye watering  - my DSis was not impressed  However, much to my surprise the haphazard amount of each ingredient has combined to make a rather spicy chutney :D More to the point both I and my DH love it :rotfl: I have 3 medium sized jars & a small pot - will label tomorrow, store 3 & use one :p I see lots of cheese & crackers & chutney, cheese or ham & chutney sandwiches in our future :rotfl: I am inordinately chuffed :rotfl:
Dinner was takeaway curry for DH & I & Chinese for DSis. Will be tomorrow night’s dinner as well - which makes it slightly more MSE :o

First day on my holidays and its been productive already :T
It's a lovely sunny day today, so I think that's helped my cleaning mood:cool:
I did open the windows in the house to air the rooms a bit, well that lasted all of 5 minutes as its bloomin freezing, so that idea quickly went out the window........ literally :rotfl:

Load of paperwork sorted, recycled and/or binned this morning. Beginning to
see the kitchen table again :D
Now off to the room of doom:eek: aka the attic :o this WILL be cleared, cleaned and tidied today. Theres really no need for that room to be so cluttered and messy, it wont be by the end of today.

Hope it's a warmer day than it is here wherever all of you are. It's a good day for polar bears here!!!
