Wanted to keep going after my break, so now feel I've done too much
, but I just wanted it all sorted - in the kitchen that is
(for now).
Think it's my imagination but when I look round the kitchen I feel it is tidier and cleaner (no actual difference - except a lot of the cupboards are now cleaner and tidier inside) How strange, but must keep going.
Matched up all my containers with their lids, and threw the "no matches" and spares out (around 15-20), so now all in a nice neat shelf just for themand dug out one of my kitchen scales, (I have 2 sets, actually quite a lot of 2 of this and that
) will try new battery and if not working then will bin them.

Evening all, well Sunday morning is now becoming 'car boot morning' so daughter & I took our stuff and tried to sell as much as we can. Made £12 in profit, but no costs for turning up because of a mix up last week with the booking of the event. So that was a small win. Sold cuddly toys, phonics books, a jigsaw and lots of building blocks. £10 of the profit has gone in the sealed money bottle which will go towards a family activity of some kind I'm sure. Our 7 year old daughter likes being a sales person, arranging the stall and talking to the public. The wonder of youth, as one lady said to me onwards and upwards. Mrs SD, my wife has a job now, which I hope will help with her mental health. She is leaving the car booting and attic decluttering to me and our daughter. It's still early days yet, but I'm hoping for better times ahead... 0

My eldest has done that, we've been pushing to sort his boxes as he moved out to new gf's flat......and left his stuff!!! And my ex has left tons of that in my broken car on the drive too :mad::mad::mad: Guess who's left to live with it and sort it all out
Having said that........your job sounds a LOT worse than mine though, do not envy you one bit!
Thanks savvy, at least we can walk away from the garage and go back home, sorry you are living amongst it. The only advice i would give is tell the 2 of them firmly that the stuff they have left with you needs to be moved by say, end April, then you will assume anything left they didnt want and you will arrange disposal. Yes it's a pain cos they should do it, yes it might cost you money and certainly time but... you will be happier knowing you are on a countdown to it going then that you are getting rid of it then that you have reclaimed your space.
Hopefully that works
