this week in LIDDL £19 or 18 something cannot find the receipt but it was no more than 19.
MRTEAS delivery minus a refund for ridiculously short dated product £40.04.

I am very happy with this level of spending and this brings monthly total so far to £345.82

this leaves me £44.18 to get me to Friday and the February begins..I will def continue with this challenge as it is genuinely making me consider every penny I spend.

£29 today and hopefully the last spend for January. Under budget though not by as much as I had hoped as did a big stock up on loo roll, dishwasher tablets etc.
  • 2 coffees yesterday... £2.78 - signature updated. I'm really pleased with how many no spend days I've managed this month... And enjoyed keeping the budget on track... I'll post all the stats complete on 31st. February should be less, not as many people 'at the table' and my cooker will be installed this week, and therefore the kitchen ready for action. I'm looking forward to it so much, the oven broke mid December, and I've missed it.
A bit of grin and bear it, a bit of come and share it
You're welcome we can spare it, yellow socks

Passed through large market town and decided to get what I need today rather than tomorrow.

    So stocked up Lidl ...£21.80
    MrSsss...................£21.51
    Emmand S..............£26.10

I have now exceeded my budget ... I dont feel bad about it as some items bought approx £15 are a gift to another family member.
Happy with month and I have a good stock of certain items such as olive oil, cleaning products etc. Going to set my next months budget for £399 :) sounds better than £400.

So calling a final total of £415.23/£390

Took friend to outpatient app this morning, while she having procedure, endoscopy, I popped into Lidl, £15.08 2 y.s. lumpfish cavier, pack of y.s. beef mince, y.s. loaf, rest was veg and cream cheese.
Do I need it or just want it.
  • Small spend this morning, milk n Jaffa cakes (for DS2!)
DS1 will be picking up a granary loaf for me on the way home.
Shall total up and add on after that.
I haven’t looked at my total NSD’s yet.. (I do know I have a few total NSDs.. nothing out!!:)) That I am really pleased with.

My month is now over and I overspent by £28.08 so going to have to try harder next month. At least now I'm more conscious of what I'm spending so even though I've gone over budget I've probably not going as over budget as I was in the past!

So pleased as that was out of a £500 budget. it's been a long time since I've managed to spend less than £500. I usually go over. Feb budget starts on the 1st but I won't need to shop again until Friday.

I've done 90% of my shopping in Ald*, refused to shop more than twice a week and been forced to be inventive at points but it's worked out. quite a bit of baking and a 99% vegetarian diet. Im so pleased. and i think i will reduce my budget to £440 in February. I still don't feel quite confident enough to reduce further but I'm hoping I can get to never needing more than £400
