:T That's us done! £315.42.:T
Has been a manic end to the month with some home-works and at work. All receipts just tallied along with an online delivery from last weekend.
NSDay total of 21/30. Don't anticipate any spends tomorrow either, so really will be 22/31. Hubby and I are both at work all day and dinner is all prepped and waiting for when we get home.
Good luck closing January everyone...and see you in Feb!0 -
£28 spent today on lunch bits, an easy lasagne for tea tomorrow and medicine for ds's cold. I am a bit disappointed that we've spent so much this month as I thought I was quite generous with our budget, but at least I know and have a realistic starting point now. Tomorrow will be a NSD so, I shall declare our January Spend as £462.44. I am hoping to try and bring that down to £400 next month fingers crossed.GC 2023 June £72/500 NSDs 1/100

I lost my figures as my free YNAB app ran out! The wanted over $80 to subsribe, NOT happening. I've.managed to work out my figures as closely as I can. I believe I spent £195.16/£200.
I have however started February's budget today as I had time to shop. Aiming for £200 again, but would like to come in further under. Spent £51.42 in Ald!, £8.93 in H0me Bargains and £8.19 in Iceland. That's massive £69.64 spent, cupboards and freezer are groaning.
This month I have had far less waste, have been more mindful or portion sizes and how to bulk meals and have brought every meal to work. I am also far more aware of where I can buy products for less and have become more creative in the kitchen.0 -

Hmm, my monthly target is £120 (single person) but spent £189.45 which I'm disappointed in.
I've used up my Christmas food, cooked with leftovers rather than throwing them away, haven't bought any alcohol, and shop mostly in Ald and Lid so don't see where I'm going wrong.
I've stocked up the freezer and larder a bit though, so will start using them in February. It's the monthly average that counts, not an individual month!Save £12k in 2022 thread #7:

My new month started on 28 Jan, and I came in at £128.54/£200 in Jan which I'm really pleased with0
