We spent £39.50 in the last 10 days.
For dinner I'm having yasai itame.
OH is out with family bowling so he'll be having burger and chips most likely but that is out of the entertainment budget.
£192.17/£200.
£7.83 left.
6 days of spending left of the month and I'm still hopeful we'll come in budget.I am a vegan woman. My OH is a lovely omni guy0 -

Will need milk tomorrow and maybe some fruit.. not much else as everyone out all day tomorrow and lunch with family at my sisters on Sunday :T
Really pleased with how I’ve done this month, keeping a daily spends diary is helping."There's a little witch in all of us"🔮🪬🧿DEBT FREE 06/2018Mrs SD’s Decluttering 2025 ⭐️ 🥇0 -

Made me smile. I have £7.85 left a whole 2pence more 😁 I'm hoping to make it as lots of ingredients in the house and use money only if I have to. Good luckBlitz that mortgage

Another £11.02 spent ...oh dear! Our Morrisons has had a revamp and there are new vegan products in that they didn't previously stock that I wanted to try. I won't be getting any more new vegan bits now though I don't think. I have tried or bough all I wanted to for the time being. Plus, I have blown the budget somewhatGC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July £44.54/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. My month is over and I made it in at the end with 176.87
Quite pleased with thatWealth is not measured by currency0 -
Had to get some meat, veg, bread and biscuits so now at £195.62/£200....think I might just make it. Hoping I don't need to get anything else in the next few days. If I make it this month, I am reducing next month's, even with the bulk buy loo roll that will go on at the beginning of the month, I still think I can do next month on less, as we will be away for a few days at the beginning which will help. I will update at the end of Jan and declare my intentions for next month.DMP 2015 £57,549, now £36,112 (37% paid)

Popped into L*dl for the first time in ages today. Spent £61 which for a big shop is much less than I spent in our usual supermarket (Mr T's). Will definitely be using more often. I've well and truly gone over my estimate but I'm still quite pleased with how we've done this month considering everything that's happened. Hope everyone's had a good week xGC 2023 June £72/500 NSDs 1/100

£40 spent at the market yesterday & today, on fish, cheese, some goat's meat produced by good friends, fruit & veg. I look as if I'm doing quite well on the budget front, but I haven't accounted for stuff the rest of the family have bought in when I'm not quite up to speed! However I think that really only comes to a couple of loaves of bread, some bananas, some yogurt and two packs of tea, bought with DD1's discount. Probably not much more than £10-£12.
I think there's enough in to get us through to payday on Thursday, at least on the planned menus, but a small top-up shop won't break the bank now. I've been put back on a "low-residue" diet temporarily, but should be able to manage that without too much disruption.Angie - GC Jul 25: £225.85/£500 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 26/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)0 -
I have £18.47 left in my January budget. I still have a week to go and don't think I shall need anything else but I'm not declaring just yet. I've kept the £3.47 in my purse and if the other £15 stays intact, it will go in our holiday pot.
Well, that didn't happen! In my defence, it wasn't me, it was DH who did a small shop for me on Friday for eggs and potatoes, but came back with a few "extras". Not to worrry, everything will get used.
I've done a meal plan for next week and don't need anything else at all (there's even enough milk to see us through) so won't be shopping. Not a hardship as (a) I'm not fond of shopping and (b) the weather forecast isn't looking good so I'll be happy to hibernate for a while. With that in mind, the remaining £9.27 of the budget has been transferred to the holiday pot and I'm declaring now. Really happy with how this 5-week month has gone, especially as I've done a lot of re-stocking of cupboard stuff.
Well done to those who were under or within budget and commiserations to those who went over; if you're still plodding away, remember the end is in sight!Hope to "see" everyone in February.
