Starbrite, I think you’re brilliant, you’re so focussed and committed to your plan, sticking to it even whilst under duress with your neighbour from hell. And it’s a mark of your focus on the debt that you didn’t mention it right til the end.
I think it’s terrific that you’re thinking about your pension but I wouldn’t worry about the end figures as yet.I am on a pension and find that I can claim pension credit and housing benefit, much to my surprise.2 -

I think it’s terrific that you’re thinking about your pension but I wouldn’t worry about the end figures as yet.I am on a pension and find that I can claim pension credit and housing benefit, much to my surprise.Thank you, I always worry about the future, and knowing our government they will removed those extra benefits before I get there! But yes I do try and not worry but don't want to be poor OAP. Love to buy a home, so I have no rent or mortgage to try and find when I am retired. Thats the next goal after clearing the remaining debtsAs for the neighbour, I finally moved back in October, Housing Association finally moved me and my life has changed so much. I've held down a job (albeit I dislike the job) I have found myself pottering about and more happy within myself.I am a survivor and far too independent for my own good!Thank you for your very kind words XxAspiring to be financially independent.... from my parents!1 -

In the end I had two weeks off, turns out I had Campylobacter - Food Poisoning form poultry!I think I did it by being in a hurry to get the chicken into the slow cooker, then made lunch on the chopping board without washing it/changing it! certainly not something I wish to repeatOther than the health side, it is annoying as I have missed two weeks money. I don't get paid for sickness nor holidays.Today day before payday I put the last 4.87 in the account, onto the Very which now stands at 520.13. need to clear £180.03 before 13th Aug otherwise the interest goes on. I brought bits on Buy Now Pay Later - was a good idea at the time!Aspiring to be financially independent.... from my parents!0
