Can't quite believe it. A friend asked me to change up her change in exchange for a £10 note and there were 4 lovely £2 coins. Like I'd refuse :rotfl:. All duly potted.

I've often thought of doing the NSD challenge, but have never gotten round to it. This year I'm completing a household expenditure sheet (tried it last year but was not totally focused - still a useful exercise as a basis for this year though) and keep every single receipt for entering, including receipts for taking my cash out of the bank. It's quite worrying how many little shops I do each week . That needs to stop as I can clearly see where my money is going!

I'm keeping a record of every little of big spend that I make ( not from the joint account). It is scary when I see what I have spent on books (£33.56) most are charity shop buys. But if I got them from the library that would be £33 still in my pocket. Chocolate over £150 in 6 months!!! I like good quality chocolate and that was all discounted. ( I always share it with my hubby). But alcohol only £11.00 (bottle of sherry). I don't buy any hot drinks out and always take my lunch to work.

I know :rotfl:. Don't feel remotely guilty, in fact can't wait to be asked again!

    Well done on your coin!

I find it quite shocking how my money just whittles away sometimes. I may as well have a hole in my purse. This week has been good though with no spends until today (the vets bill for the cat's vaccination) but a quick shop planned for tomorrow. That will all be paid cash so I may be lucky and get my hands on some more £2 coins :j
