  • Uneventful few days,  I've either been working or occupying children.  I haven't really done any 'big' days out with the kids, mainly sticking to parks, meeting up with friends and going to NT properties.  So all very low spend.  Our local cinema is doing £5 tickets to see previously released films, so we've done that a few times too.
Hoping to go to a zoo next week and maybe the seaside, I've been recommended a quiet beach that's not excessively far.  We don't spend all day there, usually a couple of hours with a fish and chip lunch.  There's an aquarium not too far from there, so may pop in there too.  We'll see.
Can't believe kids go back to school in a couple of weeks.  It's flown by!  I'm looking forward to some renewed structure and some semblance of normality for them :)
