Masks at work are horrible, I'm not looking forward to wearing them when the ( hopefully🤞🤞) warmer weather arrives, my ward is like an oven in the summer so wearing a mask is yuckyOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1205

Sounds like things are going well for you with the job and the saving for home improvements is awesome. Well done. I found a three day week was ideal for me too workwise. I worked full time before having kids, three days when they were young then full time when they were at secondary school until they were through uni then went back to part time again until retirement. Messes a bit with your pension though.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. can end up quite headachy too.... not looking forward to the hot weather either, for the same reason, zero air conditioning. We don't even have windows in our department. Yuk

I've worked part time (2-3 days) for 17 years now since I had my eldest... it's another 5 years until my youngest reaches secondary age. 22 years of part time work won't have done my pension any favours at all, but I'm not willing to work full time until my little ones are older, they get tired enough with 3 long school days as it is and I like spending time with them in the holidays.
I'll be nudging 50 by time my youngest is 11 or 12 though, not sure I'll fancy full time work much then eitherDFD March 2025 (£35000 paid off)

Lovely weekend, catching up with friends and family we haven't been able to see for a while.
Very much looking forward to payday later in the week, I was a bit generous to savings pots this month and left us a bit tight. Need to be more realistic in future months.
We're going away for a few nights in July (all paid for already) so looking forward to that, first time away as a family in a couple of years.
Next year (all being well with Covid), we'd like to get abroad as a family... something like Eurocamp for 2 weeks in France or similar. Need to price up so I know how much to save!DFD March 2025 (£35000 paid off)
