    I agree
Bits of drone would be light and wouldn't cause damage to the airport !!

I actually said landing on people, not the airport.

they have "allegedly"been accused of flying a drone over airport land some 36 hrs after first insisdent

    innocent until proved guilty

PS: O would like to buy battery packs that last for that amount of time

placebo , find a fall guy taking innocent pics with a drone and blame the lot on him

the placebo effect passed on to the public works , HM military were there for looks

So the male of the couple was a window fitter who is a drone hobbyist. His boss says he was working that day. They live in a neat house in a cul de sac. Doesn't stack up with the eco warrior or expert drone hacker image so far.
  • yup , looks good in the press , end users at airport will be happy ,

lets see if they actually PRESS charges , or will be simply forgotten

a wakeup call for UK government , and security

There are still police dotted about (or there were till this afternoon anyway) in all the surrounding country lanes, so they must think there are others.

What's the odds that they have the wrong people ?
In any case - how do the sun get away with naming people before they have even been charged - let alone been found guilty ?
Acting as Judge, Jury and Executioner - I believe that even murderers are offered "presumption of innocence" with anonymity until found guilty ?
  • Pair arrested over Gatwick Airport drone disruption released without charge
    Have a nice day :)
