Was the "sighting" actually confirmed - if nothing genuine - the last confirmed sighting was yesterday morning at 10am
    That concerns me !

From what I have just seen on the tv news, the drone would take out the poor eagle.
Shooting it down is the way forward.

Bits of a commercial drone landing on people on the ground? That's not a particularly good idea.

    I agree
Bits of drone would be light and wouldn't cause damage to the airport !!
  • Just read online that two people have been arrested for ''the criminal use of drones''. Let's hope that they get severely dealt with by the court. Don't hold your breath folks.

But they have already cancelled flights in on Saturday - including Barbados, so have they caught the right people ?

Those aircraft for the cancelled flights “in on Saturday” would have been outbound U.K. to Barbados flights on Friday and those aircraft also displaced from disruption from Thursday.

The airport and airlines have said it could take days to recover the situation to normal.

Will they get the full force of the law or a spanked a rse - and sent to bed without supper - what do you think ?
  • I think the placebo effect has been well used by the press

Don't understand what you mean. Are you suggesting that a known ineffective 'solution' has been applied with the effect of making the patient feel better. What is the ineffective solution? Who is the patient? What was the effect?
loose does not rhyme with choose but lose does and is the word you meant to write.
