Yes the money is already in the ISA wrapper so you can transfer, your S&S ISA broker will supply you with the necessary paperwork

Just remember that it's a one way deal, you can't transfer back when interest rates become more favourable.

My understanding is that you can transfer ISA's until your hearts content, as long as the ISA providers themselves allow transfers in under their T&C and it's Cash to Cash , or Cash to S&S, the restrictions only apply to new money from outside the ISA wrapper.

On the partial transfer front, I'm not sure, I think that comes down to the individual ISA provider and you would need to contact them and ask if they will allow a partial transfer out, or if it has to be the whole thing.

With iii, it's kind of a "go fetch" process, you fill out iii's forms authorizing them to go to the relevant Cash ISA provider and take the money from that account, as I say, I'm unsure on the partial, but believe it to be down to the individual ISA provider, so you need to contact them in advance to clarify.

Apologies. I had no idea you could move it out of a cash ISA and into a S&S ISA.
That's something for me to consider now!
