To be honest I can't remember why I got them! I have just had some paperwork arrive that reminded me I had them.

If you have a mortgage to repay then sure. Divide your interest by 20% and thats how much shares have to gain or pay out to justify not dealing with the debt first.

Ive not heard any great reason for aviva to fail meanwhile

lotto is not a serious investment product. but you could consider a roulette ETF instead.

We were in a similar so time ago except our IFA was struck off. I now trade our investments. No IFA costs and only myself to blame if something doesn't work out.

Getting hurt quite badly with Kazakhmys (KAZ) and Fastjet (FJET) at the moment.

Brought Kaz firstly at around 320p, again at 290p then at 260p. Im fairly confedent in the mid-term i will make my money back atleast with these.

Fastjet was a bigger gamble (brought at 4p) and thats either going to go bust or hopefully one day fly

Fastjet have been my yearly gamble, but I bought in just over the 2p mark.

The personalities involved would lead one to think that if anyone could run a low cost Pan African airline it would be them. That and the fact that it's Operationally controlled by an experienced UK team give me some hope that it will eventually start making some headway.
