Evening all
Day 2/19 done for me. I took in pulled pork rolls and had a banana in the afternoon - there is free fruit put out during the day. Tea and milk are also free so that's really fab
Tomorrow I'm offsite, so will make a sandwich in the morning (the bread is currently defrosting, whoops)
I'm also making a batch of flapjacks incase I'm running late in the morningsApril 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -
I've been doing a little better. Not been buying breakfasts from work and I didn't have one drop of coffee today :T
Tomorrows lunch will be left over pasta bake from tonight. I'm getting there. Getting lots of ideas from everyone here aswell.
Might start doing porridge in the slow cooker again so I've a hot breakfast to go!0 -
First day back and just a sandwich + apple. Decided to leave the crisps and use up some of the ‘stash’ in my desk drawer - almonds etc.
Just made a salad for tomorrow- hoping I stay full up!!!0 -
Day 5/16 done. Tomato soup today
. I have more of last week’s soup defrosting for tomorrow. I actually like the sound of that parsnip and apple soup! I make a celery and apple which I love so I might give that a try using parsnips instead! Thank you for all the ideas

3/18 & it's stew, glorious stew!
I cheat a little - I bring the food in, in a plastic mug, but I have a china bowl to eat it out of in my desk. (Oddly, a cupboard was being cleared & there was the bowl, dumped & abandoned, so I asked around, scrubbed & scalded it out & rehomed it.)0 -
#29 checking in... lunch today was a bit of a mish mash, but was enjoyable just the same! Leftover mini vegetable samosas & bhajis, mini cheddars, soft cheese, cucumber & red pepper. Oh and I’m still working my way through the mince pies, so one of them too! Not exactly ‘slimming’ food but I’m more determined to use everything up at the moment. That takes my total up to 6/21 for the monthTOTAL DEBT @ 01.02.20. = £21,452.67 :eek:0
