Hope it helps at night as much as it has my DH .
It did have to be tweaked to a slightly higher dose after a couple of months ,but he hasn't 'jumped'out of bed since0 -
Good morning all
Pulling myself up for my last day at work until the new year, and the last day of school term.
((Hugs)), LW. You know we all think you're fab, and you achieved more than I did yesterday And Happy Yule to you and Mr LW.
Today DH is at home using his last day's holiday for the year. I have ordered a new phone to arrive so that he has at least one useful job to fulfil in the day home alone. He can also run the dw later, and I might even find a few more jobs for him...**evil laughing**.
WM is running now ,but that may very well be the total flying that happens here today. Peaking before 7am, never good.
Have a lovely day all, and plenty of GWS wishes and keep calm vibes to everyone. X0 -
Today's an Inset day. I don't need to attend as I did one on a non-work day back in September. Since my cold has finally developed this is a good thing., so looks like I won't make the afternoon's team building exercise.
I think a coffee and a lie in are in order...Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016
Thank you Honey Bear0 -
LW - I know you do not like strangers coming to you, but I am in MK and if I can help by getting Mr LW's prescription for you, please let me know.0

Lamewolf happy winter solstice.
Collected Mum fine yesterday, did most of what I'd planned. Again gave us heart failure by stopping after dinner, but seems it is one of the 2 thermostats and we can make do with 1 if we set the heating differently. Phew the cooking part is fine.
Today is more flower arrangements, this time for church and maybe our banisters.
Then I think it's a girlie outing with Mum to get a free coffee from the garden centre and watch children ice skating. Keep calm everyone and enjoy.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Morning.
My intended relaxation was destroyed. Unannounced visitor turned up with Christmas Card, having driven twenty odd miles to do so. Went to pub rather than attempt to entertain [strike]somebody neither of us can really be doing with for more than a couple of hours[/strike] with not enough milk for tea and precious little on telly, he talked loads, despite knowing that I was shattered and wanted an early night, etc, etc. Ignored the obvious hints that he was looking for somebody to spend Christmas with - I'm done with having visitors who don't pay, don't help, have 1001 particular requirements and, most of all, only ever talk about themselves. Finally got shot of him at just gone midnight and planned a lie in.
Naturally, my body clock kicks in at the normal work time , I haul myself out of bed and shuffle to the bathroom, only to meet Himself coming the other way.
'S*dding bodyclock'
'Yeah, me too'
'[grumbling huffy sounds and sighs heading back to bedroom]'
'[grumbling huffy sounds and sighs heading to bathroom]'
'[hopeful chirrup from the Idiot Cat]'
'[Hmmphing sounds as Idiot Cat's optimism is proved entirely unfounded this morning]'
Annnnnd......... that was the extent of our conversation until about half an hour ago. Which reached the heady levels of 'Tea?'
'ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ-Mmmmph? Mmmmph'
'Here?' 'Mmmpphhh'I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0 -

Thank you Honey Bear0 -
Flypresent arrived, thank you.
Did church flowers, birthday arrangement for friend (trying to make it unlike a Christmas arrangement as I seem to be doing a production line in the kitchen), 2 arrangements for banisters.
Had coffee and scones with Mum at garden centre soaking up atmosphere and watching skating.
Did a fairly big tidy of kitchen, only sil's arrangement to do on Sunday now.
Was about to mop kitchen floor when Mr N returned from visits so time for a cup of tea.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Lovely Flycards have arrived - thank you so much everyone. I'm so sorry I'm not contributing at the moment but I'm either flat out getting stuff done or flat out on the bed snoring. Other than Flyladies, no-one will be getting cards this year because I've run out of time.
Ground floor tidied, one load washed and tumbled, now airing on the trolley, washing up done, another present created. I've got a bit of wrapping to do ....Better is good enough.0 -
Just jumping on to say that my lovely Flylady cards have arrived. Thank you everyone. X0
