Fayolle - i use cable ties for banister garlanding

    And I've just found that the little strips of doublesided velcro that come with new guitar leads are absolutely perfect for the job. Especially when said garland has to adorn the rood screen in Church, so sticky tape is an absolute no-no. And I found this (sorry about the stupid long link), which sounds perfect for garlands if you cut it in half lengthways), keeping electrical cables in order and, in my case, keeping hundreds of TRS, XLR and RCA leads in order;

Been running round like a thing possessed all day, did an extra 2 hours work before coming home and surprising Himself with a cuppa and everything washed up and laid out for the takeaway he brought back. Had to remind him to drink the tea because (as the cheeky beggar said), it's so rare that I make him a cuppa that he didn't remember it was there on the table!

Got about a 14 hour day tomorrow, have been promised that I won't be left working when everybody else is sipping Prosecco in the staff room on Thursday afternoon (as I'd mentioned in passing that I've never been to one of them because I'm still working) and I got a present from one of the kids - a rare thing for teenagers!

Himself has just restored the natural order of the Universe by making me another tea (which has been demolished), I'm planning on a bath and sorting out something vaguely smart for tomorrow night that I can change into in one of the loos between rehearsal and the show - and an early night.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

    to Lamewolf
Went to zumba, coffee with zumba mates.
    Did flower arrangement.
    Filled bird feeders.
Visited friend who thankfully loved the arrangement. Delivered local cards en route.
Did order for extra goodies from Milkman.
Had a call from my brother asking if he could stay Thursday and Friday night as he's got work in the area. Hm, that room aka room of doom office wasn't on the tidying schedule until Saturday  Plus all lists and presents pertaining to him will have to be hidden.
Reassessed lists with Mr N, who is doing a grand job as present wrapper.
About to finish a report and aim to start another before the night is out.
Must also do more knitting. May not go to bed at all!
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.

    Morning

Hi LW xx You are not alone in the land of hunker - unfortunately I don't have a Mr R so I have to deal with said intruders to my realm :( Shudders at the very thought.

Suffolksue one day at a time my lovely, and even teeny tiny steps will still move you forward xx

I have a whole day at home today woot woot. It's the only day this week without a 'meet up' planned. Instead Mr T will be delivering between 10am and 2pm; exactly what he'll be delivering I've forgotten as I booked the slot many moons ago (well, weeks ago anyway) when prompted by a listy :D I know I could 'view' my order and even update it up until yesterday....but where's the fun in that? It will be food; and toilet rolls. (I think. I hope lol)

Hmmm. Think I'll start by putting some pots to soak while I'm getting dressed.

Oh good. A day at home AND I've got my flylady head on :T Today could be productive :D

I'm dressed and I've: made the bed; changed the towels in the bathroom; WM x1 is swishing (towels :D); WUDUPA two bowls of pots; fed the birds; ripped up and recycled 3 cardboard boxes; oh and done a laundry shuffle :D

    Brew time now methinks :T

Morning all. I think I'm starting to resemble a tea bag!! My excuse, as if I needed one, is that I have a raging sore throat so need to keep it lubricated, and I understand that it is too early for gin to do that job.;)

I have dropped DD, guitar and various other bags at school, then dropped down to the market. Usually there is me, maybe one other, and the market traders. Today there was nearly a crowd. I got served straight away, so the fridge is now full with all things healthy. I did a quick whip round for essentials in Mr W which is next to the market, then I was straight back out before the hoards.

WM is now running, and a friend is about to drop in for coffee. Hopefully there will then be an hour or so before I have to go back out and pick up DD early to take her to the dentist.

Not much flying getting done here, but I did walk the dogs before the paid stuff. About to go into town to get my hair cut and will pop to PO while I'm there. Bed is made, dishes are washed.
Spend less now, work less later.

Tipping down here - checked the weather forecast: fine from twelve o'clock. Hmmm - murmured a 'please don't come before 12 Mr T, I really don't like wet groceries'. Phone pinged. Mr Tesco will be delivering between 1 and 2 pm. :T :j :j (Little things … :D)

I seem to have forgotten to eat breakfast  Brunch it is then!!

  • Quite productive so far although not much flying.

Awaited delivery has arrived so that is all the presents sorted. All wrapped up too.
Pellet stove has been cleaned out thoroughly so that should do until after we've been away.
Thanks to help of DD1 most of the stuff for holiday found and put on bed or in appropriate bags.
DW emptied and reloaded and back on again. Kitchen reasonably tidy
WM, TD are working overtime today, already on the 3rd load.

Lunch eaten so now going to have a cup of tea and then go and do some ironing

    See you all later
