That it isn't always enough, to be forgiven by others.
Sometimes, you have to learn to forgive yourself.

I think you should wait a year then send a debt collector to HMRC for your £200 plus fees and expenses. XLoan 1 £5200/£8000
Loan 2 £300/£5800
Total £5500/£138000 -
That is insane
Definitely get your MP involved,

i had a nice rant at help to save today. I rang up. re-explained issue then described the process to them that they would obviously now have to do to check the transaction (i could work there i know the set responses by heart lol) said yes you can now follow your process even though ive been through it all before but firstly i would like to read the letter from the ombudsman to you to say its your issue not my banks. I recognised the voices of the staff that dealt with me bless them and the general result is that they will contact me back by 12 noon on thursday with a response. I will pretend to have hope , so will probably need to write to my mp on thursday ha ha.
i tried to stay polite but angry though the we will take your details and ring back in 3-5 working days really flipped my lid. The complaints department i was put through to was actually answered by a man who takes the general first stage calls to pass you through to the relevant dept. I know because he often answers my calls in the first place. he asked when was the best time of day to call me and i said immediately and asap and i wanted him to write that on my notes. He wouldnt give a straight answer when i asked him was he the complsibts drot or not. perhaps my details are listed on a wall of troublemakers...Jan 18 Joint debts 35,213
