I've had the email to say what the tarriff will be and an email to say how much my DD will be (they're not taking that til Feb)
Do I need to wait for an account number or something?
Maybe catslovelycats could assist you?

Different supplier, but same process.

Talk about "inciting members"...

Yes, you are wise to stop digging...it doesn't back up what you said. It actually backs up what scoly has said. i.e. the bank refunds, the supplier pays the bank (irrespective of who may be right or wrong), and the supplier then resolves their differences with the payer if necessary.

For the sake of clarity I'm not disputing that the bank refunds the customer, then either reclaims the money from the originator or re-debits the customer if the originator successfully disputes the claim. If I was unclear in my previous post I apologise.
But that is an incorrect summary of what happens, so you have not clarified anything, but again sadly muddied the waters.
Please see scoly's post above.
The bank refunds the payer, the supplier pays the bank (irrespective of who may be right or wrong), and the supplier then resolves their differences with the payer if necessary ... as I have also already attempted to explain to you.

Well my previous post and the one I linked are both in disagreement with scoly's post, but in agreement with each other. I don't know whether or not there has been a change in the process.
So you, relying on a post from almost 9 years ago, disagree.
Fair enough. I can see that despite you obviously not knowing the facts for sure, you are not prepared to listen to reason.
Still, at least we tried.

We have successfully started the migration process to transfer OneSelect customers to Together Energy which requires a considerable amount of third party interaction. In line with normal industry timeframes we would expect this to be complete by early January. At that point you will be able to transfer to an alternative Together Energy tariff or switch to another supplier without exit fees.

I still haven't received any notification about my DD, but it's been set up on my account for a few days and I'm expecting it to be collected tomorrow if they stick to my normal payment date.0 -

Deafening silence here re DD -no emails - No sign of one being set up at the bank either.
I have had another missed call from a Glasgow number - and one search engine suggests it's Together Customer Services.
If I'm in, I'll answer it next time:rotfl:0
