so basically th warranty is worthless issued by samsung. how annoying

    do apple do this ?

The warranty is a contract between the original purchaser and the company. As you bought the phone secondhand you do not have a contract with the company (Samsung).

This is the same with just about all warranties and is a draw back with buying anything secondhand.

As has been said many times in this thread, the warranty is not worthless it is a contract between Samsung and the original purchaser which is not you, when purchasing a second hand item there is no contract with the manufacturer the warranty is between you and the seller which will also apply to Apple or any other second hand item.

I'm well aware of what has been said in this post so you do not need to remind no direct me towards this point as if to say I am blind or is you have to say I do not understand them I very well understand them please do not post go and read the thread again or you have been told this however many times I'm well aware of it ok if you want to post on helpful comments then go to someone else's thread I'm only interested in either an interesting debate or some useful knowledge.

In my opinion I disagree that this should be the way it is quite simply allows manufacturers to an Gates liability for manufacturing defects when really they should be doing more to protect the consumer.

So why keep posting the same thing and question when you have already been given the answers several times.

Facts, I replied to your statement about the warranty it is not basically worthless if you are the original purchaser which you are not and your question about Apple which several people have already told you, however as you only want to hear what you want I will leave you to await only answers that agree with you.

Disagree as much as you like, however you are incorrect.

A warranty is above and beyond your statutory rights. They could if they wish say it's only valid on a Monday between 0902hrs and 0906hrs if you are wearing a purple jumper.

You need to exercise your statutory rights with the retailer.

Interesting . So there is no statutory rights with the manufacturer only retailer?

Stop tuning the forum good atmosphere and people that are interested in this thread with your negative attitude and negative behaviour . It's not welcome here

Spot on. A manufacturer does not have to offer a warranty and if they do can specify conditions attatched to it.
