    I forgot to mention.....

Last night on my Cheese Escapade, the shift manager (no CS at 1.00am!!!) was so happy with me that I had pointed all the mistakes out....

He credited me one extra pack at £3.27!!!!

I know when i'm going out on my hunts again.....

May take a swag bag and striped shirt next time!!!!! :rotfl:

easier said than done. The one in the local Tescos superstore has been out of service for well over a month now and asking when, or indeed if, they are ever going to get it running again meets with a totally unconcerned shrug from whatever level of staff member you ask.

The scanner is sitting there with a "server error" message on its display...probably only needs a reboot but I think I'd look a bit dodgy fiddling around looking for the Big Red Switch :rotfl:

And in Crewe. I mentioned it to the check out supervisors who didnt seem to know that both machines were out of order. I asked at the CO desk and she said seimens were coming to fix it on Friday.

I think next time I am in I will look to see what managers are supposed to be on duty, names and photos at CSdesk and go and track him down to complain!

I have never seen a self scanner in any of my Tescos - two of them are extra stores. Good idea - I'll have a look at the Rogues Gallery the next time I there and ask. Staff have always taken goods to the till to do a price check in the past which rather suggests either they aren't working or they haven't got them!

Can remember seeing solar lights reduced yesterday......I think they were a pack of 4 low voltage for around a fiver. A lot of gardening and picnic stuff was 50% off..... plastic glaases, plates, candles etc.
