Hi, #112 reporting in for July. Managed to save £1,158 this month as I had an early refund of overpaid income tax and money that I was owed. As I'm only 9 pounds short of my current target, I've upped it from £7,500 to £9,000.
I'm expecting to make very little savings during August and November, but things do keep changing.

Reporting £421.56 for the month of June.

Just got back from a lovely weeks holiday, which explains why my figure is lower than normal for 2019.

Great saving all and hope you're all enjoying the lovely weather! :D

    Reporting £876.11 for July.

Submitted my figure to the sheet! :D:T

  • July savings off the chart for me. My parents gifted me £1k towards my holiday fund as a way of marking me finishing my degree (nearly) with the classification I hoped for. Still waiting for expenses, and need to file the second expense claim. May change my target once I get those in. Update form completed.

#157 reporting a decent £1033.62 for July and form updated. My normal savings were slightly boosted by getting £125 incentive for switching to First Direct Bank (where I will be opening a Regular Saver of course)and a small £15 referral from Booking.com. Smaller totals expected in the next couple of months due to weekends away and then a negative figure expected October/November due to an upcoming holiday in mid-October. Therefore although I am way over my yearly target already I'm taking nothing for granted.

    #11 catching up.
£630 in June, so only 35% of target for the first half of the year
better month in July though, just under £3k, hitting 50%.
August is likely to be a poor month as it's summer hols but hoping for a good Sept and Oct before we hit Christmas shopping season.

Didn't manage to save anything for July unfortunately, big bills and a holiday to pay for again. August should be a good month though I think!

Still working in my new temporary role at the moment (after redundancy) which is paying me incredibly well - I'm so grateful! There's a chance this may go permanent, so I will see what the offer is. It's not exactly the role I would usually aim for, but if the money they offer is anything near what I'm currently earning, I'm going to give it a go as me and OH want to buy a home together in the not too distant future. So any jump up in pay is always useful!

Talking of homes... I've just started talking to the estate agents and I'm going to put my flat on the market within the next week I hope!

Number 12 updating with £250 this month.
I put my bonus into my pension but seem to have spent like I deserved some reward for my bonus anyway. OH is skint so I've been covering more soends than usual. it's set me back on the challenge but is right and proper as it's so often him bailing me out. Onwards and upwards.
