    I forgot that my American Express card applies my annual cashback rebate this month. So that was a nice little surprise reduction to the bill!!! Some extra wiggle room for savings there!
    12K in 2019 Challenge #77 = £779.35 / £6,000 = 12.9%
  • Payday finally arrived after the world's longest January. £500 into my new holiday savings account, but a slight loss on my zopa fund. Update form submitted, possibly twice because computer playing silly !!!!!!s. Sorry SF.

  • January total comes to £589.05, form submitted, hope its right! Big spends and small pay check haven't helped but still a start

  • No savings this month. In fact I'm about £80 down overall! We ended up having an expensive month due to some external housework we pulled forward so that cost in the region of £900.

    Looking to be in the black in February. "I'm going to have a cheap February", I declared. "Don't forget it's my birthday!", replied OH :)

    Managed to save another £460, no council tax and rebate from Taxman, rounded it up to £500 from spare wallet cash not used. £1750 now declared

  • Number 12 checking in for January with £1609.91 - some of this is due to Tillie Tidying but I apologise to those who like round numbers!

    Some great totals on here - well done and remember the small amounts add up!

    Hello,
    I'm so excited that for January I have managed to save £907.39! I never thought I would be able to save so much in such a short space of time. I can't wait for next month's total. I have put the total on the spreadsheet.
    #19 Save £12K in 2019 challenge. Target = £10,000. Progress = £1136.09/10,000 (11.36%)
    #51 Make £2019 in 2019 challenge. Progress = £29.99/£2019.00 (1.48%)
