Update for Jan! I always seem to save more in this month, I think it's the expectation of it being tight after Christmas makes me more frugal and then I end up saving more?! Target for the month was £500 and managed £650 so happy with that!#27 - Save 12K in 20189£/£ :T0

I don’t currently and I’m wondering if I should.
I personally decided not to. I will only count savings from take home pay.12K in 2019 Challenge #77 = £779.35 / £6,000 = 12.9%0 -

I don't, for two reasons. First, I can't touch it for ages so it's more like I've 'spent' it on an investment. Second, it opens up a massive can of worms (do I count gross or net? Do I have to count the ups and downs of the investments? Do I count workplace contributions? Employer contributions?)

Retired Minky, I include my own pension contributions, because they come out of my pay packet, but not the money that the company I work for contributes to my pension on my behalf (not on MSE, anyway - I do keep track of the company contributions on a spreadsheet I use at home).0 -
