Wow, that's fantastic. Well done all.

I'm a adding a bit more to our total, £1,860.81 for December, 'smashed' my target to reach 100.4% for the year! Just £100 less over the 12 months and I would have missed it. So impressed, best year I've ever had.

#112 reporting £649 for December, bring a total of £10,963 for year which is 4% above my target. Yay! :j:T

I'm expecting January and February to be fairly low for savings with paying off credit card bills and home insurance being due.:(

That's a great amount - I've missed your updates this year. I hope you're okay.

    Reporting -£249.54 for November.

I am currently at 98% of my £12k goal (about £200, now £450) so it really is going to be close if I reach my goal or not!

This negative figure is not that surprising since it includes a holiday I have paid for in the new year, on the 0% credit card but I include that balance as a negative for my monthly saved amount.

I know in the back of my mind that my actual amount saved is slightly higher because I only track savings I make from my net pay, because I make some AVCs and SIP payments which are taken from my gross pay (so I don't really 'see' the money at all). Something I might consider including in my 2020 challenge!

Some great figures elsewhere and I hope everyone is getting into the festive mood! :santa2:

    Reporting £183.44 for December.

This number is slightly lower than actual because I was on holiday over some of December and haven't yet fully sorted out the finances, I expect this to improve January's figure once its sorted.

This takes my total for 2019 to £11,720/£12,000!! 98% to my goal. Very happy with this and looking forward to 2020! :T

    Form submitted.

Well Done geoffers4 for the cumulative numbers! Very useful for a quick reflection over the past years!

We have done well for 2019. £1,426,904 cumulative for the thread beating 2018's cumulative total of £877,179. We have 181 named savers in 2019 compared to 148 savers in 2018 which will explain some of the difference.

Hope the numbers of savers and cumulative total keep increasing for 2020!

  • Finally updated for November and December.

Thanks @slowlyfading for running this challenge. It's meant that I have been able to save for a mind-blowing holiday I took in December without spending all the savings I had from before 2019. Graduation has definitely been celebrated.

Looking forward to saving the rest of my house deposit with you all in 2020. :D
