Can anyone give me an invite please, would be much appreciated. I only have a provisional lisence, and that did not work. And I do not trust giving out my passpot details.

This offer would be great for me as a student, so I can phone my teachers for help in my work.

Being given an Invite won't solve that problem. Its because you are not on the electoral role. If you are using an address for Student Accomodation try using your home address. Otherwise the only way will be to give your driving licence or passport details.

Oh, I see. Well I just signed up to be on the electoral role, how can I check if I have been added? Is there any site to see it?

They have done it again. Now they need a new PAC code in order for me to port despite promising 2 days before it will definitely port on the 3rd December. So I have just told them I want to stick with Orange, I have never dealt with a company so incompetent as Blyk.

Sorry to put a damper on this but I wouldn't be happy giving out passport details etc :rolleyes: I had a scam phone call recently where some loan co. asked for my passport details Apparently, with passport details ID fraud is much easier :rolleyes:

I am yet to activate my Blyk sim card - how long do I have to do this before it 'expires'? I wish to start the porting process from t-mobile to Blyk before even having used this new service. Is this possible?

To activate it you put it in the phone and then it sends some messages with settings. Once you have the final test message it is activated. You will probably need to activate it before porting. I would hold off porting until there is actually someone who has successfully done it. They keep having problem after problem with porting and they never tell you about this until the last minute.

Well, I can't log onto the Blyk forum on their website because it keeps crashing my browser. Hopefully one of their staff will help me here!

I put the sim card into a Motorola V3. Both text messages arrived with settings however when I go to save/action the settings I get the following error:

'Exceeds maximium limit. Cannot add new MMS'.

Then the test message arrived but rather than an image (should it be one?) the message is composed of text as follows:

From: Blyk 247
Subject: Welcome to Blyk
Size: 15.05 Kb
Expires on :
8:38pm 4-DEC-07
Recieved :
8:09pm 4-DEC-07

In addition when I log into the Blyk website, it says I only have 15 minutes and 15 text messages remaining. Why so if I haven't used any?

It also says my new allocation will arrive on 14 Dec. Is this date the same for everyone? I would have thought my new allocation would arrive exactly one month after activating the simcard.
