Hi Julicorn,
MFW No 12 reporting in with an OP of £300 for the month of for March.
Thanks0 -
Hi everybody,
We just wanted to tell you it’s really worth getting mortgage free and this group is fantastic in encouraging people to keep at it.
We managed to get mortgage free years ago, partially because the support given by the great people here on MSE. It’s really been worthwhile.
The knowledge that we own our own house outright and nobody can take away from us was really worth the effort.
Good luck, best wishes to everybody and keep at it!:T0 -

#56 reporting an additional £162.51 overpayment for March in addition to the £250 which I think makes £412.51 for the month so far
Thanks so much Julicorn. It’s great to have a focus
Sorry it’s been quiet of late from me - my husband has been in hospital with appendicitis, 1 operation and a few days later and he is home and recovering. Hoping he doesn’t get under my feet while he recovers - he’s normally out of the house for 14 hours a day!!
Thanks for the update miss undastood, and I hope your husband feels better soon!0 -

Thanks Julicorn. He is feeling much better than last weekend but he is still recovering.
He had keyhole surgery so his scars will be much less than my appendix one - mine was whipped out in 2003!!Mortgages Oct 2020: £308,283 Jul 2021 £286,600 October 2022 £253,456 MFW-22 #9 MFIT-T6 #350 -

Hello Julicorn
I know I am a bit late, but could I join for 2019 please?
Target is £4500. Have already overpaid:
January - £301.96
February - £301.96
March - £401.96
Inspired to throw more at it now we have our projected savings statement. Currently on target to be MF in September 2022, down from May 2026. Would like to get it down a little more.
Thanks, LWas MFW#60 - mortgage paid off December 20210
