Hope everyone has had a good start to the year. No. 7 here with an overpayment of £223 for January.

Julicorn would it be possible for you to amend my target amount for the year to £1615 ? I would love to be able to overpay the £7000 target I was put down for, but it's going to be a tight year moneywise. Thanks!

Of course, that's all updated now. Better be realistic than to get frustrated by an unattainable goal!

Can I join in please. Not sure yet on figures as will be adding to my mortgage in a couple of months to do some big renovations, but then looking to chip away at the amount thereafter! Can I add target later?

Hi MrsMouse, I've added you as #162 now You can add a target later, the only thing that's a little tricky is adding any overpayments you've already made when you've not set a target yet. I could always add a placeholder target as well if you have a vague estimate? Either way, welcome to the challenge!

My January OP is £230.

A little ‘month end tidy up’ resulted in another small OP of £27.54, making a total of £105.26 for January

New fixed rate deal starting 1st Feb - I will revise my target once I can see what the new daily interest is :T

#106 here with third update of the month. Have transferred a further £25 to the mortgage account rounding it up to a total of £1,500 paid off this month. Thanks,
