And we've just surpassed £30k in overpayments - not too bad considering it's only the third day of the year!
Well done everyone, and especially all of you who are already 'ahead of schedule'!0 -

Re-mortgage Oct 2017 - 78,295 over 23 years
Re-mortgage Jan 2020 - 55,000 over 26 years @ 1.94%
Current Mortgage Outstanding Middle December 2020 - £47893.35 - a reduction of £42,652 in just over 6 years!0 -
Happy New Year everyone and thank you Julicorn
#169 £697.67 paid to start the year so £697.67/£8000 I'm off the starting blocks :j
Also just put £600 into my mortgage neutral fund, but not counting as an overpayment because I'm using this as a contingency pot as I'm on my own and started to worry that I could lose everything I've worked for if I couldn't pay monthly mortgage if anything happened.
Good luck everyone for 2019Blitz that mortgage
Jun 2016 £152,000
April 2021 £85,0000 -
#43 first op of the year is £860. A good start but really need to make/save extra to be mf by the end of the year or sooner. Just over £11,700 left on the mortgage not due to finish until June 2028 so feeling quite chuffed with the progress we've made. With every op made monthly mortgage payments reduce so op will increase to account for that. We have no limits on op but can't fully pay it off until March 2022 but if there's only £1 left by Dec 2019 I'm still declaring that as mf😁😁Mortgage free 25/9/2019 8years and 7 months early 😁😁😁0
