Hi Julicorn,
Please can I join.
I’d like to overpay £5k this year.Original 35 year mortgage: January 2016, £306,000
January 2022 : £198,000 (£30k saving pot split equally between cash and alternative investments)
January 2022: 2x £3k child ISA.0 -
Another little OP of £30.93 yesterday, making £77.72 so far this month :j
Had a letter from my lender a couple of days ago with details of my options as my current fixed rate finishes at the end of April.
I chose the deal I wanted and went online to arrange and they’re going to let me start the new rate from 1st Feb! As the new rate is considerably less than I’ve paying since 2014 those 3 months is going to save me about £140! :j
Am waiting for confirmation of my new MP but ‘should’ be about £45-50 less than my current MP! My plan is to continue paying the same as I have been so my OPs will increase by £45-50 each month :j:j
Will update my target once I have exact figures and have done my sums
