    June op: £400

    YTD: £1830

    2019 target reached! :j:j:j

I am not allowed any more ops this year without penalty so will now start squirreling away what I can for next year. I can then hopefully kill off a small sub account when it finishes its fix.

Thanks Julicorn and all the thread folk for keeping me on track

Of course you can! Welcome to the challenge, you're our #109 now :)

And while we're at it, maybe we can start some sort of 'Scary South East Mortgage Anonymous' club :rotfl:

    Great, thank you Julicorn.

SSEMA sounds like it would be a very valid group! I am going to miss my current mortgage very much!

No. 30 here with a last-minute top-up of £51.04 for June - which I think brings my June total to £309.55.

    I haven't quite made it under the next £500 but I will with July's payment(s). :)

Total of £1549.18 paid in for June

Expecting a slightly slower couple of months now, reality I expect probably only £500-£750 over the next few months with the wedding and also we need to start putting more away for OH tax bill in January as it's going to be more than we were expecting

#22 reporting total overpayments for June came to £1100.85

Thanks and have a great weekend everyone! :D
  • Slight aside to our payments - has anyone on here considered how to reduce the redemption fee and admin fee when paying off your mortgage? We stayed with friends at the weekend who have left their mortgage to run its full course and pay 42p a month.

Hi SL - I've got to say I'm not sure - definitely worth looking into though because I must admit I think my admin fees for each mortgage are £95 and I have 3 mortgages on my house so may do like your friends and leave a small balance when I get close to clearing mortgage 3 (circa £10k at present still to go).

    Hi Julicorn
Many thanks for keeping us on track and up to date :A
#81 reporting a payment for June of £555.01

Keep going everyone - Summer months are always difficult I think to pay extra, but worth keep chipping away :)
