My regular saver matured today and I've topped it up a little for a further overpay of £4000 for June. Total for June is now £4993.66.

And this means I may actually fall into the "on schedule" bracket on the spreadsheet :D:D:D

    Another £50, making £100 for June :)

I’ve been having a bit of a ‘sort out’/re- jiggle of a few financial things during the last couple of months. Hoping to get back to normal from next month.
£500 of this year’s OPs are now in an account I’ve labelled to ‘offset’ and £50 of my OP every month will go to there rather than directly to my mortgage account as the bonus it will gain is far greater than the interest being charged on my mortgage. When this matures in September next year I will pay the lump sum off my mortgage.

julicorn, could you please also record £50 OP for July as this will happen automatically when the direct debit goes out on 1st of the month, I will update with any additional OPs at the end of the month

    Thanks :T

    HI Julicorn/all,

May I join you in this? My new scary South East Mortgage is due to start on the 15th of July and I could do with a little bit extra motivation with it.

I would like to try and overpay £1000 in the last 6 months or so of the year.

    Thanks :)

Of course you can! Welcome to the challenge, you're our #109 now :)

And while we're at it, maybe we can start some sort of 'Scary South East Mortgage Anonymous' club :rotfl:
