I accept the vote but if we (remainers) feel this is a bad decision then why should we keep quiet about our concerns?
I have no problem with anyone expressing concerns. It would be unwise not to investigate concerns, and IMO should have been done at the start of this process. My problem is the many who still say Leavers did not know what they voted for - but with the implication you had no idea what it meant, so we who know better will make sure that "leave" is as close to "remain" as we can possibly make it - an actual "remain" if possible.

OUT means leaving single market, customs union etc.

It means that to you, but not to everyone.

Cameron did say that leave means pulling UK out of SM

The prime minister said: “What the British public will be voting for is to leave the EU and leave the single market.”

Another one of his promises that wont be kept then.
  • Premier league teams carefully plan their strategy, which involves delving into the detail, whereas Sunday pub league teams tend to just want to kick the ball.
I think that in this instance your (remainer) premier league team wants to know the outcome of every match of the season - and has in fact "arranged" the results before a single match against the other (Brexiter) team.
That is called "rigging" and goes against all the rules.

But still proof positive to the wailers that the public were warned what Brexit meant.

We can't suspend A50. This Brexit chaos has been going on long enough. It's crippling our economy. Immigrants (who we need) don't want to come here because Brexit voters in places that don't have any immigrants don't want them in the places that do. There are 3000 fewer nurses this year alone and almost 5000 European doctors are planning on leaving.

Brexit just needs to be cancelled then we can get on with absorbing the Brexiteer tantrums and getting on with life.

Yes they will make a fuss. Some of them might even want to wave placards about and bang on cars.

But if the government is clever they'll just schedule non Brexit day with signing on day, only let them somewhere without step free access and offer a 2-4-1 Pringles promotion in Tesco, and most of them won't go.

So, Bliar has come out and called for another referendum.

That should be proof to anybody that we should not have one.

On the day after the referendum, I argued for an EFTA-type deal, at least in the short term. Both sides rejected my idea out of hand, but I can't help feeling that pursuing it would have spared us a great deal of hassle.

Whether the UK will suffer financial harm from Brexit is debateable.
It already has, whether you want to dispute it or not.
No-one is trying to claim it's an economic benefit any more.
That Scotland would suffer financial harm from independence is indisputable
Maybe. But it's worth it for sovereignty. If WTO doesn't hurt UK it won't hurt Scotland, and you'd probably want to arrange a FTA with us pretty quickly.

[wuote]It is simply not true that Scotland is held in contempt by the Tories. What a ridiculous think to say. If it were true, why would the Scots elect 13 of them at the last election? On the other hand, the Tories' view of the clowns in the ScotNats isn’t exactly positive and you may be confusing two different things.[/QUOTE]

It's absolutely true, whether you want to dispute that or not too.
We got some Tory MPs this time round (up from 1 from last time) because Labour/Tory MPs teamed up to break the snp dominance. A few Labour MPs were encouraging voters to vote Tory, the Tory campaign was essentially "vote Labour get SNP". No-one seems particularly happy with the Tories we do have.

The Tories hate the SNP for being a thorn in their side and calling them on policy. Local SNP government is putting a lot of effort into mitigating from Tory policy.
They've merely got co tempt for the Scottish people.
