So let's just keep having a referendum every two years. Let's continue to give a remit to the excessively populated and ineffective Parliament to focus on their perceived and disconnected, stylised consideration of what the Brexit vote meant.

Or lets cut it down to a meaningful, effective and efficient executive that can deliver the people's wish, I feel around 200 MPs would suffice.

    Just LOL! :rotfl:

The only people who don't want a second referendum are those that don't believe in democracy.

So how often do you recommend we have a referendum on our EU membership? Remembering that opinions can change as often as the weather??

Has the result of the referendum been delivered ?
Has the UK left the EU ?

No it hasn't, MobileSaver believes that we should keep voting until remain win and then it can be implemented, thats his/her idea of democracy...

Interesting that Labour readers' remain backing newspaper published against freedom of movement.

If there is another referendum...and...Remain win, then I think it important that the Leavers spend the next couple of years asking what sort of "Remain" they wanted (with a *plan* of course).

I mean, some Remainers might want more EU. Some might want a bigger EU. Some might want a smaller EU with the naughty members kicked out. Some might want an EU like the good old days, when it was just embarrassing cheese mountains and milk lakes to worry about. Some might want an Euro future for us to avoid those pesky queues at Bureaux de Change twice a year.

Maybe we'd need a plan to respond to Juncker's plan ;)

I see that today MPs voted down the motion of no confidence - 53% against to 47% for.

So we'll need another vote of no confidence now, to get the 'right' result :D

Interesting to read the Torygraph headlines this morning. They seem to think a huge betrayal by parliament is underway. Let's hope they are right....'no deal' will be off the table, May's deal is dead and Brexit is going to be a soft one or no Brexit at all.........are we gradually coming to our senses......I do hope so.

    Both sides can claim betrayal.

I'd be all for a referendum question on what kind of remain we want going forward. Do we remain a reluctant member or do we get more involved?

But it's disingenuous to think that Remain I'd currently unclear, the status quo is pretty well defined.
